The gang leader downstairs was smoking, and only when the people next to him saw that they were all his own did they come over to speak, "Boss, is this woman crazy? Is she out of her mind?"
"Tch." The gang leader exhaled a smoke ring, indicating that he also looked down on Xu Zhaoming.
"Boss, what do you mean? Do we still need to write an IOU? Otherwise, I'll go to the Xu family now and tell them about her situation here, and have them come with the money to take her away."
The gang leader glanced at him and said, "Get out of the way. The Xu family is the one who stole our territory. They've expanded quite a bit in the past few months. Now they want me to hand them a ladder? Don't even think about it!"

And so, the gang leader went to the Han family overnight, discussed things all night, and returned before dawn. When he got out of the car, he had a big smile on his face, which showed that they had reached an agreement.
"Boss, did you reach an agreement?" The old buddy guarding the house immediately ran over.
"Alright, have someone write the IOU, and have her come down to sign it when it's light." The gang leader said with a grin, scratching his head. His old buddy whispered in his ear, "Boss, she obviously can't come up with the money."
Seeing how much he cared about money, the gang leader patted his arm hard and said, "This time we're not taking advantage of her money; the Han family paid this amount." He held up six fingers.
Upon seeing this, the old buddy immediately gave the gang leader a thumbs up, "We still need the boss to step in. So, what's our plan?"
"Look how impatient you are. Come on, let's go inside and talk." The gang leader put his arm around the man and led him inside. They couldn't talk about this in the living room, since there was a reception room in the house.
The gang leader called over several of his key underlings. "I know you've all been feeling frustrated, but now, our chance to turn the tables has arrived!"
“I’ve already made arrangements with the Han family. The six boxes of gold bars will arrive tonight. We’ll do as Xu Zhaoming said, pin the blame on her, and the brothers will take the money and head south to start anew.”
Everyone was very excited when they heard this. They already lived a life of constant danger, and recently their territory was taken away. The other party had someone backing them up, and they couldn't handle it. Now it was their chance to get revenge.
When Xu Zhaoming came to sign the IOU, the gang leader's attitude was even better than the night before, and the atmosphere in the whole house was different.
"Alright, I'll arrange for my brothers to investigate the hospital's situation right away. We'll make our move in the next couple of days. On the day we make our move, would you like to keep watch at the entrance, Miss? Burning down your own hospital isn't something just anyone would do."
The gang leader put the IOU into the box and flattered Xu Zhaoming, saying, "Miss Xu is clearly someone who is destined for great things. I admire her."
Xu Zhaoming knew he could go to the scene without having to ask, so he agreed. He didn't care about the gang leader's sarcastic remarks; he'd settle accounts after he got the job done.
While the group was plotting to harm people, Xu Zhaoyue was discussing how to save them.
Yue Lanxing brought the lunchbox back and placed it on the dining table in Xu Zhaoyue's office. "Miss, please eat first." Xu Zhaoyue didn't even look up, as if she hadn't heard anyone come in.
“You were watching when I went out, and you’ve been watching for more than three hours now. You should also think about your health.” Yue Lanxing waved her hand in front of her eyes.
Xu Zhaoyue looked at the hand that suddenly appeared in front of her, long and slender with distinct joints, so perfect for acupuncture. The thought popped into her head...
Looking up, she saw Yue Lanxing who had just entered. "Let me check on her for a while. How is your mother?"
“I just went to see Yue’s family. She’s in pretty good spirits. My mother is with her. My uncle said that the two of them are more like they were when they were young and living at home.”
As Yue Lanxing spoke, her hands didn't stop; she closed all the documents in front of Xu Zhaoyue. "Good girl, eat first."
"Okay." Xu Zhaoyue leaned back and watched him finish packing before getting up to eat. As soon as she opened the box, she knew it was brought back from outside, and it was completely different from the food in the cafeteria.
Xu Zhaoyue picked up a piece of green vegetable with her chopsticks. "This is... the place we went to before, right?"
"Yes, didn't Miss say that their dishes have a delicate fragrance?" Yue Lanxing replied, her hands expertly preparing tea.
Xu Zhaoyue's lips almost curled up. This store wasn't close to anywhere. "How long have you been staying at home? You're back now and you even brought back food from this store."
"Because I'm smart. I called this restaurant to order when I was at the Yue family's house, and it was already ready by the time I drove there. It just meant I had to drive a little further." Yue Lanxing picked up a napkin and wiped Xu Zhaoyue's mouth.
After Xu Zhaoyue waited quietly for him to finish wiping, she asked, "Does the Yue family also like their food? Where did you get the phone number?"
When Yue Lanxing heard Xu Zhaoyue ask about this, a smug look appeared on his face. He tapped his head with his hand and said, "It's here. It was on the menu when we went last time."
Seeing his slightly smug expression, Xu Zhaoyue smiled and said, "Yes, you're amazing!"
After finishing their meal, they went to the hospital, where Dean Ye and Dr. Feng were also discussing the matter.
"We can perform the surgery the day after tomorrow, Xiao Xu. I didn't expect you to have so much experience after just one year away. Truly, new talents emerge in every generation," Dr. Feng remarked.
Xu Zhaoyue thought to herself, "This is the experience from so many missions!" But she still maintained a humble demeanor, saying, "I need to participate in more real combat. It's a pity I can't be a doctor."
"You can't say that. You already have a lot of experience. With that experience, you can better understand where the problems lie in managing a company. Don't you think so, Dean?"
