No one went over to the operating room; Dean Ye was busy evacuating people downstairs and had completely forgotten about them.
The thugs had already scouted the area and knew where to start the fire, making it the biggest and easiest to ignite. In an instant, the entire hospital was engulfed in flames. Apart from Dean Ye leading the evacuation, there were also some who tried to save themselves.
The fourth floor was empty; the fire escape had been a great help, and there were few people on the fourth floor to begin with, but there were still exceptions.

At this moment, Xu Zhaoming was watching the commotion with her maid. Both of them were holding a mask, which was a smoke and fireproof mask. They had taken out several of them before setting the fire.
"Second Miss, let's hurry up and leave. It's already so chaotic. If we don't leave now, the two of us might not be able to get out." Xiao Ke had already thrown away her handkerchief and started putting on her mask.
Xu Zhaoming looked at her with disdain, "What are you afraid of? There's nothing here... Ah!"

"Drink!" Qin Tingyi shoved the mask into her mother's hand, then turned to bite Xu Zhaoming. "Hey! Hey! Hey! You crazy woman, let go!" Xu Zhaoming's arm was grabbed, and she hurriedly hit Qin Tingyi's head.
"What are you still looking at? Come help me, the fire is about to reach here!" Xu Zhaoming's one hand was being held back, and he couldn't cover his mouth and nose with the other. Seeing the fire coming so close, he shouted, "Give me your mask!"
Both sentences were directed at the maid, but Xiao Ke didn't want to indulge her temper anymore. They still had to go down four floors later, and they didn't know what the situation was like down there. Giving her the mask now would be tantamount to courting death.
"Second Miss, I'll go find someone to help you." Xiao Ke said this and ran down the stairs without even looking back.
"You bastard, you're just standing by and watching me die! Let go of me right now!" Xu Zhaoming was completely panicked. The strength she unleashed in that life-or-death moment allowed her to pull her arm away. She didn't care about Qin Tingyi's condition anymore; she just had to run.
When Grandma Qin saw that the two of them had left, she quickly put a mask on Qin Tingyi. Qin Tingyi had already put one on herself, but luckily she managed to snatch one back.
Qin Tingyi was not so obedient. She shook off Grandma Qin's hand and ran upstairs. "Where are you going? Come back quickly!" Grandma Qin looked anxious, but she could only follow her.
The most crucial step was underway in the operating room when Manager Hong discovered the fire. She heard shouting outside, but in a hospital, shouting is generally avoided.
At first she didn't pay attention, but then she smelled thick smoke and the smoke alarm went off in the hallway. "Oh dear, what's going on? Cough cough cough!"
Manager Hong wanted to go downstairs to take a look, but she was choked back as soon as she got into the hallway. Now she completely understood what was going on. Her first reaction was to knock on the operating room door, but when she got to the door, she suddenly stopped with a sharp brake.
Her grandson was undergoing surgery inside. If the doctors inside got scared and ran out, it wouldn't just be a question of whether the surgery would be successful; it could mean they couldn't even stitch up the wound, and then her grandson would be beyond saving.
She paced anxiously outside for a while, then remembered that she was worried her son and daughter-in-law wouldn't be able to handle the pressure of the surgery, so she told them the surgery would be done tomorrow, and they were still on their way back.
If only she had known, she would have done it tomorrow. If her grandson had died here today, how would she explain it? She felt like dying. Just then, a thought suddenly flashed into her mind.
There's probably a huge fire outside, and the whole hospital is too busy to take care of itself. It's uncertain whether anyone will come to rescue them. She wants to die with her grandson, and seeing him before she dies will make her feel a little better.
"Bang, bang, bang!" Manager Hong began knocking on the door.
The voice was exceptionally clear in the quiet operating room, "What's going on outside?" Xu Zhaoyue quickly came out to check the situation, and then the smoke from outside rushed in.
