Xu Zhaoyue got up and sat down next to Chen Yun, taking her hand to comfort her, "Alright, alright, don't just think about why they would betray you. Didn't you ever suspect anything before?"
"Huh?" Chen Yun was a little confused. She looked at Xu Zhaoyue in astonishment, and it was clear that her eyes were already red.
“If there’s anything about their behavior that you felt was off but you’d overlooked, just think about it from that angle. You might just find the reason. Think about it carefully. I’m going to get something for you.” Xu Zhaoyue patted her hand and then got up and left.
Xu Zhaoyue went to the study, where the photo Yue Lanxing had given her was in the drawer. She hesitated for a moment in front of the drawer, then took out the envelope, grabbed some tissues, and went back to the bedroom.
"Wipe your tears first, I have something for you." Xu Zhaoyue handed a tissue to Chen Yun, who took it and tilted her head back to cover her eyes, the tissue gradually becoming wet with tears.
Xu Zhaoyue sat there quietly waiting for her to calm down. After wetting three pieces of paper, Chen Yun was finally able to turn around and look at Xu Zhaoyue. "What did you say you were going to give me?"
"This is it, take a look for yourself." Xu Zhaoyue placed the envelope in front of Chen Yun, and when Chen Yun opened it, she explained her initial intention, "When you brought Zhang Pei to see me, I didn't quite understand what an editor meant, so I sent someone to check it out."
"The person who commissioned this took these photos. I was originally planning to find you after your match, so these things wouldn't interfere with your game, but since you're already here..."

My brother doesn't know I have a boyfriend yet. If I beat him up and become famous, wouldn't my brother know that I'm not only dating someone behind his back, but I'm also being cheated on?"
"Oh right, but are you sure he doesn't know?" Xu Zhaoyue thought of Chen Fei's expressionless face, who was like a guardian deity just by standing there. He kept a close eye on Chen Yun, so there was no way he wouldn't know.
Chen Yun shook her head. "He probably doesn't know that I've only met Zhang Pei a few times. The last time I brought him to see you was because we hadn't seen each other for a long time, and I thought I'd take you both out together since I rarely get to go out."
"Let's not talk about this anymore, let's go to sleep." Xu Zhaoyue didn't want to hear about this man anymore. She pulled Chen Yun down to lie down and forced her to sleep by pulling the blanket up to her neck.
The next day, Chen Yun returned home with swollen eyes. After thinking about it all night, she finally decided to go back and tell her brother, as he was more familiar with getting revenge. Xu Zhaoyue could tell from her imposing aura that she was alright.
After arriving at the office, Xu Zhaoyue lay down on the chair. She hadn't caught up on sleep in the car and was still a little sleepy. Yue Lanxing followed her in.
"Young Miss, did you not sleep well last night?" Yue Lanxing looked at the young lady, who was dozing off on her way to work for the first time. The way she tried to keep her eyes open but wanted to sleep was really cute.
Xu Zhaoyue rubbed her head and sighed, "Yes, I can't go into the lab this morning." Xu Zhaoyue wasn't sure if she could stay awake and do the experiment. If she panicked even for a moment during any step, things would get really bad.
“I noticed the bed in the small room wasn’t very good last time, so I took the time to replace it with a new one. Miss, you can rest there for a while. There are a lot of medicinal herbs in the small storeroom. I’ll find some herbs to make a calming sachet for you.”
"Thank you for your hard work. But you also know about herbs?" Xu Zhaoyue perked up and forced herself to sit up to look at Yue Lanxing.

"Were you often sick when you were a child?" Xu Zhaoyue sat up straight when she heard that he was not in good health, but she could not tell from the left and right eyes what Yue Lanxing looked like when he was sick.
