When Yue Lanxing saw that the young lady's first concern was her health, a warm feeling welled up inside her. "It happened when I was a child. I guess I've become an expert on this over time."
"Then go find Cui Bai to take a look later. He knows more about medicinal herbs than I do. I need to ask him for advice. I really need to sleep for a while." Xu Zhaoyue's energy, which she had just mustered, was immediately depleted, and she started to feel sleepy again.

"Hey, you've come at the right time. Where's my uncle? Why are you so late today?" Cui Bai looked up and saw Yue Lanxing standing at the laboratory door, talking as he walked out.
Yue Lanxing raised her hand to stop him. "No need, Dr. Cui. Miss is busy in her office and won't be able to come to the lab until the afternoon. If you have something important to do, I'll go and call her. If not, you don't need to go."
"Oh, is that so? It's nothing, it's nothing serious. I can manage on my own." Cui Bai waved his hand and returned to his previous position. "In that case, I won't go over."
Seeing that he was so obedient, Yue Lanxing nodded to him and went to the small storeroom. He took out herbs, cloth, and needles and thread from it. Even he was a little surprised when he found these things, not expecting that he could actually find them all.
Yue Lanxing carefully returned to her office, then sat down and began sewing a purse. Sewing a purse for herbs was not difficult, but this was for the young lady, so it needed to be more delicate.

Xu Zhaoyue walked up to him and watched his movements. "You're so skillful! Is this for me?" She then placed her hands in front of Yue Lanxing, waiting for him to put the purse in her hands.
Seeing how much she was looking forward to what he had made, Yue Lanxing couldn't help but be happy. "Well, it's just something that's easy to make and will work." With that, he placed the purse in her hand.
"Wow, it's sewn so well." Xu Zhaoyue picked it up and gently stroked it, then brought it to her nose to smell it. "It smells nice too. I can use it to read documents now."
It wasn't until she mentioned it that Yue Lanxing realized only an hour had passed since the young lady went to rest. Wasn't that a bit too short? "Won't the young lady sleep a little longer?"
"No, sleeping too much will only make me confused. Go pour me a cup of tea. I want to take a look at the documents from the past two days. The experimental data from these days has been compiled, and I want to check if there are any omissions."
"Okay, I'll go right away." Yue Lanxing looked at the young lady sitting at her desk again and felt even more admiration for her. This must be the kind of person who will eventually take control of the Xu family business.

"Hmm." Xu Zhaoyue hummed a syllable from the tip of her nose, which made Yue Lanxing's heart itch. But after putting down the tea, he had no reason to stay in the room. "Miss, please call me if you need anything. I'll wait outside." As Yue Lanxing said this, his eyes were fixed on Xu Zhaoyue, his gaze very focused.
Xu Zhaoyue didn't look up, so she didn't see his eyes. "Okay, go ahead."
Yue Lanxing slowly withdrew his gaze, then quickly glanced back as he turned around before leaving. Once he stood at the door, he felt increasingly that something was wrong with him. It wasn't like he was never going to see her again, so why was he so reluctant to leave?
Chen Yun, who had just left the Xu family mansion, was being scolded by her brother Chen Fei. "Okay, brother, I know I was wrong. You must be thirsty after scolding me for so long. Have some water to calm down."
Chen Yun placed the cup next to Chen Fei. Chen Fei glanced at her sister, who was pretending to be innocent and charming, and said, "You know I'm thirsty? Then why don't you know you should tell your family if you have a boyfriend?" After saying that, she picked up the cup and drank the water in one gulp, then angrily put the cup down.
