"Are you Huanglian? Yue Lanxing vomited blood and is on his way to the hospital." Xu Zhaoyue's voice trembled as she struggled to get the key information out.
Upon hearing that Yue Lanxing had vomited blood, the other party immediately shouted, "Xiao Lian, stop eating! Something's happened to Xiao Yue! We're at the main hospital, don't send it to the wrong place!" Then the other party hung up.
Hearing the anxious voices on the other end, Xu Zhaoyue knew she hadn't made a mistake. She swayed back slightly from the effort, but thankfully Xiao Nan caught her quickly. Just then, He Kaiyuan and He Lianhua came running over.
"Have him take you to the car, and drive straight out the back door." He Lianhua watched them leave, then began to arrange matters for the He family. She had been startled when He Kaiyuan ran over earlier.
Hearing his description made me break out in a cold sweat. "Are you sure it's an allergy? What allergy? Vomiting blood? You just drank alcohol? Here's what we'll do, you come along and help out if you can, make arrangements if you can. I'll talk to Mom and Dad."
So, He Lianhua went to tell her parents first. Luckily, they weren't too loud, and now there was the allergy reason, so it didn't cause a big fuss.
"Investigate! Investigate for me! If this person is allergic to alcohol to the point of vomiting blood, how could he possibly drink alcohol? Something must have been put in the alcohol. Go and ask the servants if there are any abnormalities. The alcohol itself is secondary."
He Lianhua was on her way to find Shengzi, because Kaiyuan had just said that Shengzi had taken the wine. "Hey, Sister He, I've been looking for Xiaoyue for ages, hasn't she come yet?" Chen Yun walked over.
"Well, it's like this, her housekeeper had an accident and went to the hospital, so she went there too. I have to go take care of things first. I'll treat you to a meal in a few days to apologize. Please make yourself at home." He Lianhua explained this to her before leaving as soon as she saw her.
Chen Yun was stunned for a moment before realizing what she had said. She stood there for a while before going to find Chen Fei. It seemed that today's party would end badly.
Almost everyone was nervous about Yue Lanxing, but he was the only one laughing, which made the others in the car feel uneasy.
"Brother Yue, can you stop laughing? It's creepy," Xu Zhaohao said, turning around.
Yue Lanxing suddenly came to her senses and saw that it was Xu Zhaohao speaking. Her attitude immediately changed. "Okay, I... Ugh." Before she could finish speaking, she spat out another mouthful of blood into the car.
"Don't talk, Butler Yue, we'll be at the hospital soon, Li Qi, hurry up." Xu Shun supported Yue Lanxing's upper body from behind. Li Qi was already focusing all his attention on driving.
Yue Lanxing had experienced the tension around him countless times, but this time he could calmly close his eyes to rest, and did not forget to comfort them, "Don't worry, I'll be fine, it's not a fatal illness."
The others, seeing the blood he had just vomited, didn't know how to respond, while Yue Lanxing's lips curled into a smile, though it was hidden by the blood around his mouth, so no one could see his joy.
As soon as they arrived at the hospital, before they even got out of the car, a group of people rushed over pushing a bed. "Yue Lanxing! You didn't faint, did you!" Huang Lian immediately slapped him across the face.
Yue Lanxing opened her eyes only after being beaten. The intense emotions in her eyes made Huang Lian's heart skip a beat. She thought to herself, "This is bad. That look is like she wants to kill me." She dared not look at her. "Close your eyes and rest." Huang Lian closed her eyes again.
"I'm fine," Yue Lanxing insisted.
"Yes, yes, with us here, it's hard to die even if you want to." Huang Lian led his men into the operating room, where Uncle Huang was already waiting. By the time Xu Zhaoyue arrived, the resuscitation had already begun. "Is it Huang Lian who's performing the surgery?"
"Yes, yes, they know each other. Sister, let's go to the office and sit down first. There's no use rushing." Xu Zhaohao's words made sense. They went into the office together, and after they sat down, a junior manager came in to greet them.
"Miss, I'm the office director. I came over as soon as I received Huang Can's call. Don't worry, they are experts in this field." Xu Zhaoyue didn't quite hear what he said, and finally waved him out.
"What could it be an allergy to? Champagne?" Xu Zhaohao muttered from the side. "Yeah, yeah, we've been standing together the whole time, and he hasn't touched anything except champagne," Xiao Nan nodded repeatedly.
“He must have known about the allergen. If it was champagne, how could he have drunk it? It must have been laced with something that caused the allergen!” He Kaiyuan analyzed, which meant that someone had drugged the He family’s party.
But why give it to him, or is it random?
Xu Zhaoyue appeared to be listening to them, but in her heart she was thinking, "So that's how it is!" Perhaps it wasn't just Yue Lanxing's mother who was frail and sickly; he himself was unable to attend school.
"Alright, Lianhua is investigating at home. There's no point in thinking about this now," Xu Zhaoyue said. "Kaiyuan, you go back first. Everything's fine here for now. You were with us the whole time. Go back and tell your sister what happened back then."
"Who was it that gave us the wine?" Xu Zhaoyue felt the face looked familiar, but couldn't remember. "His name is Shengzi, I know him." Xu Shun poked his head in from outside.
He Kaiyuan felt he needed to go back and keep an eye on things, so he drove off. However, before he left, Li Qi also went back with him. He needed to bring another car over, otherwise, with so many of them at the hospital, they wouldn't be able to leave.
When they returned to the He family home, they were already seeing off their guests. "Where are my parents and my sister?" He Kaiyuan asked. "Young Master, the one who drugged them was Miss Han. They are all in their room on the second floor now."
The servants led the way, and Li Qi followed to find out what was going on. He had just heard Xu Shun mention the Han family, and this Miss Han actually dared to drug the He family; she was incredibly audacious.
