Yue Lanxing watched the young lady leave, finding her actions quite adorable. Then Huang Lian poked her head in and asked, "What do you say?"
"I told you, let Miss see whatever she wants." Yue Lanxing nodded, smiling smugly. His mind was filled with Miss's concern for him and her question from earlier.
Seeing his smug expression, Huang Lian really didn't want to ask him the reason, and quickly took Xu Zhaoyue to the office.
"Brother Yue, Miss said that one of us should stay behind to take care of you. Who do you want to stay?" Xue Huzi imitated Huang Lian's actions, opening the door a crack and sticking his head in.
Yue Lanxing thought that since he couldn't be discharged from the hospital soon, he might as well use this time to sort out the gang's affairs. "Tashiro, you go and protect the young lady's safety."
"Alright." Xue Huzi straightened up and patted Tian Dai on the shoulder. "I'll leave it to you now. Call when it's your shift change."
So Tashiro stayed. After entering the ward, he saw Yue Lanxing looking out the window. Thinking that there was probably nothing else to do, he walked towards the sofa, but Yue Lanxing called out to him.
"Tashiro, are you confident you can take over the territory of those three gangs?" Yue Lanxing turned to look at the very surprised Tashiro.
"Of course we do. We planned it last time, but Miss said the Fang family lives there, so we need to talk to them first." Tashiro thought for a moment and still believed in his abilities.
Yue Lanxing nodded, explaining the reason. "Our original plan was just to decapitate them, but I've reconsidered. Why not develop that area into our territory?"
"Huh?" Tashiro was surprised. When did Yue Lanxing come up with this idea? Did the young lady talk to him about something just now? Or was it triggered by this injury?
Yue Lanxing's eyes were full of ambition. "Anyway, it's very close to the Xu family's transportation route, isn't it? If we can get it done, we can expect to get a reward from the young lady."
“You can take revenge, or even become the boss. You got into a fight with them before because of the venue, and then your men covered for you to escape.”
"If we succeed, you can bring back your old brothers, and I can secure my position as the butler." Although Yue Lanxing was trying to persuade Tian Dai to listen to his advice, he didn't really care whether anyone stayed or left after the young lady guaranteed him the gun.
Tashiro was puzzled. Yue Lanxing seemed to have become a different person overnight. Did the young lady know about such an ambitious plan? But when he heard that he could bring back his former brothers, the offer was too tempting.
“Alright, I’ll do this with you, but we should tell Miss about it, right?” Tashiro asked. He wouldn’t do it if he kept it from Miss.
Yue Lanxing saw that he was still thinking about the young lady at this time, which was good; he was a loyal person. "Of course, I will report to the young lady after the plan is revised."
While the two of them were discussing, Xu Zhaoyue and Huang Lian were also discussing Yue Lanxing's condition.
Huang Lian was very familiar with his experiments over the years, and he talked on and on for half an hour until he got thirsty and went to get a cup to drink water and catch his breath.
"In other words, you've been using exhaustive methods all these years, eliminating substances one by one, but you still haven't found which substance it is?" Xu Zhaoyue summarized.

"By the way, where is Uncle Huang?" Xu Zhaoyue looked around. There was a lot of stuff in this laboratory. The fact that the two of them could complete such a large amount of work showed their high level of skill.
"Oh, my father went to the pharmacy to find medicinal herbs. When he comes back and sees all the things that Miss sent over, he'll be overjoyed. They're all treasures," Huang Lian explained.
Xu Zhaoyue nodded, "It will be fine. I already know the details, so I won't bother you any longer. If you need anything in the lab in the future, you can come to me."
Xu Zhaoyue was about to take her leave when Huang Lian couldn't help but ask after seeing her out of the lab, "Miss, you really believe it, right? Don't you think we're lying?"
"Huh? Why wouldn't I believe it?" Xu Zhaoyue asked back.
Huang Lian scratched his head, his expression full of confusion. "It took me a lot of effort to accept it back then. It's a bit unbelievable that you accepted it so calmly."
Xu Zhaoyue smiled calmly, "Since he said that, I believe he wouldn't lie to me. Alright, let's talk again next time. Xiaonan, let's go."
Huang Lian watched Xu Zhaoyue leave the building, and as she watched her disappearing figure, she thought to herself, "If only I could meet someone who trusts me like that. My dad has questioned my experiments a hundred times and still has doubts. There's no trust in me at all."
Xu Zhaoyue left the hospital with Xiaonan and Xue Huzi. On their way back to the Xu family home, they were attracted by a group of children. "Miss, it looks like the children up ahead are having a charity sale. They're from an orphanage." Xiaonan saw the lively scene outside the window.
"Let's stop the car up ahead and take a look." Xu Zhaoyue directed Xue Huzi to stop the car, and then she and Xiao Nan got out and went over.
When a child saw a pretty lady coming over, he happily ran over with a flower in his hand and presented it to Xu Zhaoyue, saying, "Pretty lady, buy a flower, it's very cheap."
