Chapter 56 Registration

It was already past lunchtime when Xu Zhaoyue called Wang Tianding over. In less than a quarter of a year, Wang Tianding already had his own work phone number.

"Manager Xu, Researcher Wang is here," Xue Huzi said as he entered to announce.

Xu Zhaoyue nodded, indicating that he could let Wang Tianding in. "I sent her. Don't let anyone else in later."

Xue Huzi made way, and Wang Tianding entered the office. "Manager Xu." After watching Xue Huzi close the door, she naturally sat down opposite Xu Zhaoyue.

"How have you been lately? I see you've been promoted quite quickly." Xu Zhaoyue took out Wang Tianding's documents. There are two ways to get promoted: one is for clerical positions, which assesses management skills; the other is for experimental positions, which assesses research abilities.

Although these three departments appear to have only one manager, their management and research capabilities are excellent. Xu Zhaoyue and Xu Zhaoming are simply there for a trial period and are not within the scope of the evaluation.

“I’m alright in research, but I’m not so good at management. It’s really impressive that you can manage the whole department. I’ve heard from the Second Department that Manager Xu is very prestigious in the First Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He manages both management and research.” Wang Tianding’s tone was full of admiration.

Xu Zhaoyue gets shy when she hears sincere praise. "It's alright, it's just my duty."

"By the way, I called you here to ask how cooperative Manager Hong is with your work? Does she usually participate in research? What is the Second Department's evaluation of her?" Xu Zhaoyue's series of questions left Wang Tianding a little confused, but she quickly came to her senses.

At the time, she was wondering why Manager Xu had assigned her to the second department. After all, if she were with her, she could help her. Even if she were in the first department of Western medicine, she could still annoy Xu Zhaoming.

Now she understands that the Second Division is a middle ground. If she can quietly cultivate her own people in the Second Division, it will be of great use.

After thinking it through, Wang Tianding honestly told him about Manager Hong's problem: "Manager Hong used to do research, but she can't keep up now. However, she has been a great support to us."

"She has a very easygoing temperament and is generally not dissatisfied with anything. She is only strict with the clerks, and her assistant often works overtime to revise documents."

After listening to her words, Xu Zhaoyue nodded thoughtfully, "It seems there are no other problems. I have read the reports submitted by the two departments over the past year. Although the results are not as good as those of the first department, they are still quite remarkable."

"However, there are still some people who are lax in their work, not strict enough when they should be, and not lenient enough when they should be." Xu Zhaoyue sighed. Manager Hong's attitude towards her and Xu Zhaoming was the same. She didn't rely on either of them. Should she say that she was only concerned with herself, or was she waiting for someone else?

Xu Zhaoyue was suspicious in this regard, and since she was suspicious, there was no need to leave this doubt alive.

"I think you should also consider learning some management skills. Of course, I know you are more inclined to research, and your recent results are quite good. I remember that Manager Hong's assistant was indeed very good."

"The fact that she can write such a good report at such a young age is also due to the fact that the data you researched is indeed very good and reliable. You should talk to her more. It might be better for two people in a department to discuss the matter together than for one person to make the decision."

Wang Tianding pondered Xu Zhaoyue's words to herself. They seemed to make a lot of sense. Although she thought Manager Hong was alright, she would definitely listen to what Manager Xu said.

“Okay, I’ll go back and… um, I’ll get to know her slowly.” Wang Tianding nodded solemnly in agreement. When she first met Xu Zhaoyue, she had already demonstrated her interpersonal skills. It wasn’t that she was particularly smooth; sometimes, sincerity is the key to winning people’s hearts.

"Manager Xu, I've seen that lozenge before, and I think it's a great idea..." After agreeing, Wang Tianding started talking to Xu Zhaoyue about work.

Xu Zhaoyue responded to her from time to time, answering her questions and solving her problems. The more Wang Tianding talked, the brighter her eyes became. Manager Xu was indeed amazing. She had only been back for a few months, but she not only managed things in an orderly manner, but also achieved excellent experimental results.

After seeing Wang Tianding off, Xu Zhaoyue looked out the window and rubbed her neck. Discussing deep issues with people was really tiring. She looked at the fiery clouds outside; the angle was perfect, with no large buildings obstructing the view.

Looking at such a beautiful view, time passed by without me realizing it, and I only realized it was time to leave work when Tashiro knocked on the door.

The first thing Xu Zhaoyue did upon returning to the villa was to show Yue Lanxing that there were still some red clouds on the horizon.

"Lanxing, look, there's only a little bit left. It looked so beautiful when I looked at it from the office." Xu Zhaoyue pointed to the horizon, and Yue Lanxing looked over as well. Indeed, there was only a little bit left. He hadn't paid any attention to it before.

While Xu Zhaoyue was still feeling regretful that Yue Lanxing hadn't seen the sunset, Yue Lanxing's heart was already bubbling with excitement. He didn't know exactly why, but he felt a sweet feeling flowing through his heart when the young lady shared these things with him.

"There's a high chance of seeing fiery clouds in summer. Maybe next time it'll be me and Miss seeing it together," Yue Lanxing reassured Miss Xu Zhaoyue. Xu Zhaoyue just sighed and then stopped worrying about it.

Saturday arrived quickly. The plan was to arrive at the Fang family's house around 11:00 AM, as it was a two-hour drive away. Yue Lanxing had brought the parrot back the night before and had the young lady examine it before covering it with a cloth.

Xu Zhaoyue looked at Yue Lanxing, who had just returned from her run outside, and asked, "Did you go to exercise this morning?" After she finished speaking, she looked down at her belly and then looked up at her arm. Fortunately, she hadn't gained weight because she had relaxed her exercise routine.
