Xu Zhaohao was deeply moved by what he said, his eyes welling up with tears. "That's so kind of you, a true brother."
“Yes, you two should rest quietly. I’ll leave Xue Huzi here. He’s strong enough to carry both of you. If you need anything, just tell him. I’m going back now and will come back tomorrow.” Xu Zhaoyue said and started to walk out.
Xu Zhaohao had just nodded in agreement when he suddenly called out to her, "Sister! Why don't you lay low for a while and not go back?" He was afraid that Xu Zhaoyue would be blamed if she went back, after all, Xu Guangcai's demeanor today was indeed frightening.
Xu Zhaoyue came back and covered him with the blanket. "I'm striking while the iron is hot. Your father must be worried about you since you were just injured. If I persuade him a little more, he might agree to your request. Don't worry, I'll have Lanxing stand by. He can handle anything if anything happens."
"Young Master, don't worry, I will absolutely not let Miss get hurt." Yue Lanxing replied quickly, looking at Xu Shun as he spoke, with an expression that showed he regarded him as a role model.
Xu Zhaohao looked at Yue Lanxing's physique; she was much stronger than Xu Shun. She usually obeyed her sister without question. "Okay, I can entrust her with this task," he said. "I trust you."
So Xu Zhaoyue left Xue Huzi behind and took Yue Lanxing and Xiao Nan back to the mansion.
"Butler Xu, where is Father?" Xu Zhaoyue went straight to Guiting Villa as soon as she returned. As soon as she entered, she saw Butler Xu pacing back and forth with his back bent. As soon as he saw her return, he immediately winked at her, "He's in the study. Assistant Yan is in there too."
"Oh, what was Father like after we left? And what was Assistant Yan doing there?" Xu Zhaoyue asked.
Butler Xu glanced at the study upstairs, utterly unable to comprehend how the master could have done such a thing. He sighed inwardly and then began to explain the situation to Xu Zhaoyue.
"We helped the master back. He took his medicine, but he's still angry. I think he's angry at himself. Assistant Yan was carrying a bag the whole time. I don't know what's in it. After the master took his medicine, he went into the study with him to talk about something."
"When I went in to deliver tea, I overheard something. It seems that they discovered a big problem with the things they were dealing with during their trip. Sigh, they're so anxious and angry. Their health can't keep up."

"Young Miss, how can there be any grudge between father and son that lasts overnight? I think Master was already worried just now. Please don't let the young master think that Master is heartless." Butler Xu was still worried about their father-son relationship.
Xu Zhaoyue nodded, she knew all about these things. "Alright, I'll go check the situation. Xiao Nan, go and report to her first." She asked Xiao Nan behind her to go and report that she had arrived.
As expected, as soon as Xu Guangcai heard that she had returned, he immediately let her in.
After entering the study, Xu Zhaoyue went over to apologize first, "Father, Xiao Hao's injuries need to stay in the hospital to recuperate for a while, so I didn't let him come back. Please don't blame him, Father."
Xu Guangcai's expression turned awkward for a moment, then he said in a serious tone, "He's injured, so he can just rest. It's no big deal. Anyway, it's our own hospital, we won't mistreat him."

"Then he'll be focused on how to go against his father. I can't even imagine father and son becoming enemies." Xu Zhaoyue shook her head, seemingly imagining that scene.
After hearing what she said, Xu Guangcai realized he couldn't bring himself to ask her to change her major. Continuing down that path would only make him an enemy of his son. After thinking it over, Xu Guangcai decided to put the matter aside for the time being.
"Alright, let's not talk about that for now. Come and take a look at this matter." Xu Guangcai pointed to the file box in front of him.
Xu Zhaoyue already had a general idea of what was going on. She opened the file box, took out the documents, and began to read them carefully. After quickly flipping through half of them, she stopped.
"Father, are these account books brought back from the border crossing? They don't match the company's." Xu Zhaoyue couldn't feign surprise, but she always seemed confident about everything, so Xu Guangcai didn't suspect anything.
