"Yes, but I'll only tell you this once, and keep it a secret from everyone else." Xu Zhaoyue nodded to Xiaonan. The fact that Xiaonan knew about this so soon already showed a high level of trust.
Xiao Nan's eyes widened. Should she first thank the young lady for her trust and believe that she wouldn't tell anyone?
"Well... never mind, I support whatever decision Miss makes, but you better watch out. If you dare to treat Miss badly, just you wait." Xiao Nan finally gave up on saying anything to Miss after drawing for a while, and instead turned to Yue Lanxing to say some harsh words.
"I will definitely listen to whatever Miss says." Yue Lanxing looked at Xu Zhaoyue. Xiao Nan didn't see his expression, but she could tell from the bright eyes of the young lady that this boy was trying to seduce her again by being good-looking.

Xu Zhaoyue nodded, "Why compare with me? Finding a boyfriend isn't like finding a business partner. Besides, not to brag, but if we really had to be a perfect match in every way, I might as well just arrange a marriage with one of the other families."
"Hmm? That won't do. If it's a marriage alliance, you'll have less say, Miss. That won't do." Xiao Nan instinctively rejected the possibility, and this shake of her head made her realize that Yue Lanxing was a good choice.
But Xiao Nan immediately remembered something else: "What should we do about his illness?"

Yue Lanxing recognized her mother's voice. "Mom? What phone did you use to call me?"

Xu Zhaoyue blinked rapidly. Surely the Yue family wouldn't stoop to kidnapping? She seemed unsure. "Do they want you to go to the Maple Leaf Mansion for an appointment?"
Yue Lanxing shook her head and denied it, saying, "No, I made the reservation, but I might not be able to come back tonight."
"Don't worry about me, you should be careful instead." Xu Zhaoyue stood up, looked at Yue Lanxing, and then opened her arms. "Give me a hug to bring you some good luck."
When Yue Lanxing hugged her, her heart was pounding. "Then thank you for your good luck, Miss."
