"I came here specially to see you, Madam Gu!"
Alice looked Ji Yan up and down. Her face was rosy and she spoke with full energy. She didn't look sick at all.
After not seeing her for over twenty years, the years had left their mark on her face. She looked even more bitter and mean now than she did then.
Resentment flashed across his eyes and quickly disappeared.
Alice curled her lips: "Mrs. Gu, let's talk alone!"
Ji Yan could tell that she had come with bad intentions. The woman in front of her made her feel uncomfortable all over, especially the pair of eyes that were staring at her, which seemed to be filled with poison.
She frowned and said, "Madam, it seems we haven't met before. As you can see, I'm recovering from an illness and the doctor said I need more rest. Please leave! Aunt Zhao, please show me around."

When talking about the past, a hint of cruelty flashed in Ji Yan's eyes.

"Not afraid? That's best!"
Alice increased her strength, and Ji Yan's face turned pale in pain. His forehead was covered with fine beads of sweat, but he didn't dare to cry out.

Her eyes darkened, and she suddenly grabbed Ji Yan's neck, easily pressing him down on the bed, murderous intent surging in her.
Ji Yan panicked. The sudden feeling of suffocation made her struggle desperately, and Alice's cold voice was in her ears.

She said with a bloodthirsty smile on her face.
Seeing Ji Yan began to roll his eyes, at the critical moment, Ji Yan suddenly let go of his hand.
It would be too easy for her to die like this!
After regaining his freedom, Ji Yan breathed hard and looked at Alice with fear in his eyes.
Before she could react, a silver needle pierced her neck.
"You...what did you do to me?"
A tingling sensation came over Ji Yan's neck, which seemed to be frozen. She lay on the bed, unable to move.
Alice smiled with satisfaction. "This is a great gift I specially prepared for you! It won't be long before you start to feel its magical effect. I'm looking forward to your next performance. Madam Gu!"
Ji Yan wanted to speak, but found that she couldn't speak.
Alice knew that the medicine had been absorbed by her. She patted Ji Yan's face with satisfaction, then walked away in her high heels, leaving Ji Yan lying alone on the bed, motionless.
Alice's eyes flashed with disgust as she emerged from the ward. She immediately pulled disinfectant wipes from her bag, carefully wiped her hands clean, and reapplied hand cream. Only when she smelled the familiar scent did her emotions gradually calm down.
