Lu Anning could drink, but she'd drunk a little too quickly today, and now the alcohol was taking its toll on her, making her feel a bit dizzy. Lu An Ning was drunk and far less powerful than He Xun. The two of them were struggling near the bathroom. When she came out, Tang Jingyuan was answering the phone with his back to her. Lu Anning approached quietly and only heard his gentle voice. When she got closer, she heard the female voice on the phone. It was Ye Lingfei.
"Jingyuan, I want to go home. I feel dizzy. Can you take me back now?"
Tang Jingyuan hesitated for a moment, then his cool hands wrapped around his waist. The familiar feeling made him let down his guard, and when he turned around, it was indeed Lu Anning.
Lu Anning looked up at Tang Jingyuan. Her temper was rising, and she wanted to take the initiative. It was rare for her to act coquettishly towards Tang Jingyuan. She held his warm wrist and shook it slightly. She said nothing, but her eyes told Tang Jingyuan that she wanted him to go back with her.
"Let's talk about it when I get over there." Tang Jingyuan quickly hung up the phone, looked down at his tightly held wrist, and sighed softly.
"Ling Fei drank too much. She just arrived in Jiangcheng and is unfamiliar with the place. I..."
Before Tang Jingyuan finished speaking, Lu Anning interrupted him: "I understand."
