Chapter 52 Liu Si's Unreliable Behavior

Chapter 52 Liu Si's Unreliable Behavior

As soon as Wen Zhen came in, he saw Liu Si sitting on the left. There was a lot of silver on the plate in front of him, which was dizzying.

On the other side, a man was hung up with his hands tied. A big man was whipping him continuously with a whip. Another big man scooped a bucket of water from a bucket and poured it on the tortured man, making him scream in pain.

Mrs. Wen now regretted agreeing to bring her along. She shouldn't have been allowed to see these things: "Yi Yi, stop looking."

Liu Si didn't even look up to see who had come in. He said nonchalantly, "Borrow money and pay it back. Nine out of ten times the money you borrow will be returned. Overdue interest will be doubled. If you don't pay back, you'll have to pay with your life."

Wen Zhenyi walked to the table in front of him and stood still, uttering two words softly: "Pay back the money."

Liu Si then raised his head to look at the person who came, and this sight almost made him fall off the stool. The younger brother behind him immediately helped him sit up and yelled at Wen Zhenyi: "Little bitch, you scared our Master Liu Si."

Wen Zhenyi leaned halfway towards Liu Si, not caring at all, with a playful smile on his face: "Really?"

Liu Si felt like he was being stared at by a venomous snake. Cold sweat flowed down his forehead unconsciously. This feeling made him very uncomfortable: "Haha! Miss Wen, are you here to repay the money?"

Wen Zhen stood up and sat down across from him: "How about I come and reminisce about the past with you?"

Old Mrs. Wen stood behind Wen Zhenyi and didn't say a word the whole time, like a background board.

Liu Si looked at the surrounding environment, sat up straight, and said in his heart: This is my territory. Since you are here, you can't leave safely unless you lose some skin.

"Okay, let's settle the accounts." Then he said to the people behind him, "Go and get the accounts of the Wen family in Xinglin Village."

As soon as Mrs. Wen heard this, she knew he was going to go back on his word: "Liu Si, you said last time that you only had to pay back fifteen taels. Do you want to go back on your word?"

Liu Si smiled and said, "Of course not, but I still have to take a look at the account." After saying that, he stood up pretending to be relaxed and distanced himself from Wen Zhenyi.

Wen Zhenyi lowered his head and looked at his hands. Sometimes he really couldn't help but take action.

After a while, the big man came out with an account book in his hand: "Fourth Master, the Wen family borrowed 100 taels from us before, and we paid back some of it gradually. We still have 10 taels left, but we didn't pay the interest on time. Now we have to pay back 70 taels, including the principal."

Liu Si looked at the two men and said, "You heard it too. Now you have to pay me back seventy taels."

Mrs. Wen was so angry: "You go back on your word."

Wen Zhenyi stood up and walked to the side of Mrs. Wen: "Grandma, how much money did you pay them back in total?"

"The principal plus interest is already one hundred and fifty or sixty."

"I understand. Take care of yourself later."

Mrs. Wen was stunned: "What are you going to do?"

"Sometimes it's useless to reason with them. Even though I don't like it, I still have to fight violence with violence." As he said this, he picked up the chair he had just been sitting on and smashed it directly on the big man behind the table.

The big man was caught off guard and was knocked unconscious by Wen Zhenyi.

Liu Si didn't expect her to be so arrogant and dare to attack him in his territory: "What are you still standing there for? Arrest her for me. I will let her know the consequences of offending me."

The door of the shop was closed in an instant, and it became a little dark inside, but Wen Zhenyi's eyes revealed an unusual excitement.

It was like the light of a hunter seeing his prey.

A group of thugs rushed towards her: "Little girl, you are looking for death."

Wen Zhenyi smiled and said, "It's not certain who is looking for death." Then he grabbed the chair leg that had just been broken and directly pierced the man's arm.

The thug fell to the ground in pain, looking at the wooden stick stuck in his arm.

Wen Zhenyi stepped on him to gain leverage, then kicked the other thug in the head, using his skillful strength to knock him down.

Old Lady Wen had been a little worried before, after all, there were quite a few people here, but now it seemed that they were no match for her granddaughter. She simply stood by with her hands on her belly and watched the excitement, occasionally cheering her on: "Yi Yi, mighty."

Wen Zhenyi turned around and looked at her with a smile.

Liu Si's face turned green as he watched: "Catch that old woman."

Wen Zhenyi looked at Liu Si: "You are looking for death."

She attacked faster and more ruthlessly. The hands and feet of the people on the ground were deformed to varying degrees. One of them curled up on the ground, groaning in pain.

Liu Si watched the people around him fall to the ground one by one, and the cold sweat on his forehead kept flowing down: "You, don't come over here."

Old Lady Wen saw that the big man who had just been hit by Wen Zhenyi with a stool woke up and slowly stood up. She picked up the tray full of silver on the table and hit the big man hard, causing him to continue sleeping.

When Wen Zhen heard the sound, he turned around and saw Old Lady Wen throwing away the tray and clapping her hands. He smiled and gave her a thumbs up.

Liu Si was now in despair. Why would he provoke her for no reason?

Wen Zhenyi grabbed Liu Si and beat him up. Looking at him wailing in pain on the ground, she stepped on him and squatted down to look at him: "When you went to my house, did you have any thoughts about my mother that you shouldn't have?"

"Misunderstanding, that's a misunderstanding."

"You want to regret it now."

"No, I don't want the money anymore. Please forgive me this time!"

"Not only will you not get any money, but you will have to give back all the extra money we gave you."

"Okay, okay, I'll return them all. I'll return them all." Liu Si was so scared that his whole body was shaking. This silly girl from the Wen family was so scary now that she wasn't silly anymore.

"Girl, don't believe him. He is a villain. If you let him go now, he will definitely take revenge on you in a while." The man who was hanging on the other side spoke weakly.

Liu Si's pupils were now dilated: "Shut up." He looked at Wen Zhenyi with a flattering face: "I, I will never do that."

Wen Zhenyi looked at Liu Si and said, "If you had settled the bill quickly today, I would have believed you. But you chose to play this trick on me. Do you think I should believe you?"

"I, I know I was wrong, please give me a chance."

"Your alley is probably too busy for you to handle by yourself. You must have a second-in-command. How about we change someone to be the boss?"

Liu Si now feels scared, which means he might die.

Wen Zhenyi secretly looked at the hanging man: "Uncle, where is their second-in-command?"

The man looked in the direction where Old Lady Wen was standing.

Old Lady Wen moved aside, revealing the man lying on the ground, still unconscious. "Him?"

The man nodded.

Wen Zhenyi felt a little headache. It was not good news that this person fainted.
