Author's Closing Remarks

Author's Closing Remarks

After many stumbles and setbacks, this article is finally finished.

Overall, it's not perfect.

When I first started rewriting a modern romance novel based on a transmigration story, I wasn't confident at all. My initial idea was to write about a female protagonist who was beautiful and arrogant in the entertainment industry, loved by everyone, but who didn't love anyone. The background of the story was that a god from the divine realm fell into modern society and unraveled the mystery of the peach blossom mark on her body.

However, due to update issues, the book's data wasn't very good. Also, since I didn't know much about the entertainment industry, I changed direction and started writing about the Xuanmen (Taoist sect). I hoped to start from this small entry point and write a story about the Xuanmen.

And then...

It's been dragging on for too long, and with all that new experience and insights I've gained during this time, I'm starting to dislike the original outline.

Most importantly, I can't find that same feeling of excitement I had when I first started writing this article.

Therefore, this is the stage I can only write up to now.

Later on, the two of them were already the most powerful people in the world, able to easily do many things. Writing about them in too much detail would be pointless, so we'll end here.

I felt very guilty when I stopped updating this book for a long time.

Guilt is an emotion that, well, I don't know if you've ever felt it, but the more guilty you feel, the greater the emotional pressure, and the more you try to avoid it.

There was a period when I felt a lot of pressure and guilt every time I wrote this article. It wasn't until I wrote for a longer period of time that I gradually felt better.

It's finally come to a bumpy but successful conclusion.

This ending is not perfect.

But at least the main story has been told.

Thank you for reading this book all this time. I only get a few subscribers each day, and I can usually guess who they are.

A huge thank you to all the readers who have been with me since I was a fan of male and female idols, thank you Qiu Luo Ci Gui Yan, Shen Hai, Ben Wang Zai Le, A Yan Na, Si Yi, Ying Luo, Jiu Wei Hu Yu, and other darlings. [Please don't mind if I didn't mention any of the readers; I was writing this while going through the book reviews, so I might have missed some.]

I am extremely grateful to you all for being there. It is because of you that I was able to keep this book from being abandoned. I felt that if I did abandon it, I would be letting you down. Thank you so much.

Over the years of writing this book, I have received countless love and positive energy from you all. Whenever I think of you lovely readers, I feel truly warm inside, and I feel that writing this book is particularly meaningful and worth persisting in.

I also thank you for allowing me to make a living by writing books.

Every time I see your heartwarming gestures, I can't help but show them off to my friends and tell them that I have a group of lovely readers.

Thank you so much. I bow to you all and wish you all good health and safety during this pandemic.

In addition, I'd like to share my plans for the future:

One reason is that the group will be temporarily disbanded because I don't speak in the group [sorry, I'm a serious social anxiety sufferer]. So, to avoid wasting everyone's time and energy, I will send out red envelopes in the group today. After you receive your red envelopes, I will disband the group in three hours.

Secondly, I will not be writing any more stories for the time being. [I had originally conceived a story about a strong female protagonist in a fantasy world, but I will not write it for now due to traffic issues.] Writing long novels over the past few years has taken a toll on me, and I have accumulated some occupational diseases, such as hand and back pain after typing for a long time. I will try writing a few short stories on Zhihu later. If you want to find me, you can go there. Long-time readers should know my name.

The third is to remind you not to forget me; I might come back someday.

Finally, I want to hug you all. I really hate to part with you. The thought of not hearing from you for a long time makes my eyes water. So, don't forget me.

Goodbye, everyone!

Sending you my love, bowing, and saying good morning, good afternoon, and good night!
