Chapter 120 Rules

Soon, a middle-aged man led a large group of people out. The group was dressed in Taoist robes, with their hair tied up in buns. Their expressions were arrogant and aloof, and their gait was full of imposing presence.

Several young disciples went up to complain.

"Uncle-Master, you've finally arrived! We've been beaten so badly!"

"It's those two."

Everyone pointed at Nie Yuchen, not paying any attention to Mingluo, thinking that Mingluo was probably just an extra.

The senior apprentice looked at Nie Yuchen. They were in business with the wealthy and focused on the rich. When they saw Nie Yuchen's face, they were startled, and their previously superior expression instantly turned awkward.

"President Nie?"

He asked hesitantly, unsure if it was truly Nie Yuchen himself who had condescended to come here.

Nie Yuchen nodded, "Master Zhao."

The person in front of me is Zhao Jiuming, the new generation leader of the Celestial Masters Sect, and is recognized as the successor of Celestial Master Zhao.

After learning that the Celestial Masters Sect and Mingluo had become enemies, Nie Yuchen began to investigate the Celestial Masters Sect's information. Naturally, he found Zhao Jiuming. He knew that Zhao Jiuming had some real skills and had learned most of the Celestial Master Zhao's inheritance, making him very powerful.

Following behind Zhao Jiuming were his fellow disciples, all of whom were outstanding individuals.

With so many young masters from the Celestial Masters Sect gathered here, something seemed very strange. He couldn't help but glance at Mingluo, his suspicions growing even stronger.

Minglu gave him a reassuring look, assuring him not to be afraid, that she was there for him.

Nie Yuchen couldn't help but smile. During this period, he was busy with work during the day and was urged to practice martial arts in his dreams at night. He felt a sense of familiarity when learning those martial arts techniques and learned them very quickly, which could be described as making rapid progress.

He had never fought anyone and didn't know his own skill level, but he should be able to protect himself.

He was very happy that Mingluo was protecting him, so he simply nodded in agreement.

Seeing that the two of them were exchanging glances and didn't seem to care about him at all, Zhao Jiuming felt a little unhappy.

However, since he couldn't see Mingluo's face from his angle, his expression darkened, and he asked, "President Nie, who is this...?"

"Mingluo!" Mingluo turned around and looked at Zhao Jiuming with a smile.

Upon seeing this, Zhao Jiuming's expression changed drastically. Everyone else became wary upon hearing the name, their faces showing fear. Only the younger generation remained oblivious to the gravity of the situation, not understanding why their senior uncles had changed their expressions.

Zhao Jiuming said in a deep voice, "What are you doing here? You harmed my master, beat my uncle, and imprisoned my nephew. Our Celestial Master Sect didn't cause you any trouble, but you came here on your own initiative. Do you really think our Celestial Master Sect is easy to bully?"

Everyone understood in a day.

"It was you, you vixen, who harmed my master, my martial uncle?"

"How can you be so shameless as to release our junior brother Zhao Qing?"

"You're a woman, so desperate for men? You're even stealing men from all over the place, you have no shame."

Everyone chimed in with their own opinions.

Minglu watched with a smile, memorizing every curse word, so she could give them a good slap later.

Nie Yuchen's face darkened, and he said coldly, "Is this the rule of the Celestial Masters Sect?"

Everyone held their breath.

One of the younger disciples, however, retorted, "We apply the same rules to different types of people."

"Then I'm relieved!" Mingluo said calmly.

She stretched out her finger, and spiritual energy surged from her hand, forcing Zhao Jiuming back. She then grabbed the disciple who had spoken and held him in her palm, her slender, white fingers pinching his neck...
