Chapter 280 Obedient
The forest suddenly turned a sharp corner. Lin Changning kept looking back. By the dim moonlight, he could clearly see a group of people on horseback approaching them at high speed less than a hundred meters away.
If he remembered correctly, there should be a large lake in Rongzhou, and two high mountains ahead. Crossing the mountains should lead to the lake.

A layer of sweat appeared on Li Mingshu's forehead, and she nodded hurriedly.
As the low slope drew closer, Lin Changning held Yue'er protectively in his arms. Yue'er clung tightly to Lin Changning's clothes, her face showing a hint of fear.
