Chapter 12: Shallow Exposure
After the unpleasant conflict in the backstage passage, Lin Shu had long disappeared.
"Fuck!" Gu Chengyu cursed and kicked the cold wall hard.
The alcohol mixed with the anger of being contradicted by Lin Shu, coupled with the evil fire that had nowhere to vent, ran rampant in his blood.
He had a gloomy face and wanted to go out for some fresh air.
As soon as he turned a corner, a figure suddenly bumped into his arms.
The huge impact made her stumble back, trip and about to fall.
When Gu Chengyu saw that it was Su Qianqian, he reacted very quickly. He reached out and grabbed her arm to steady her.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to."
Su Qianqian stood up hurriedly, her head lowered very low, her voice weak and trembling.
This fear was not fake. Although she took the initiative, she was still very flustered when facing a man who was obviously in a bad mood.
Gu Chengyu was already irritable, and this reckless collision only added fuel to the fire.
He lowered his head and looked at the young assistant in a gray T-shirt, and a nameless anger rose in his heart.
"Don't you watch your step?" His voice was low and hoarse, filled with offended displeasure.
"I'm sorry, Master Gu. I'll leave right away." Su Qianqian bowed and apologized.
Just as she leaned forward, the pair of heavy black-framed glasses finally slid down her small nose bridge and fell onto the smooth floor tiles with a light "click".
Su Qianqian's body froze instantly. Oh no.
She almost immediately wanted to squat down and pick it up.
But Gu Chengyu was faster.
He had originally just casually glanced at this impetuous assistant, but the moment her glasses slipped and she looked up in panic...
What kind of eyes are those?
The water shimmers and is as clear as the newly melted snow in the mountains, and it seems to be filled with crushed starlight.
The corners of her eyes are slightly upturned, giving her a natural look of innocence and charm.
At this moment, because of extreme panic, a thin layer of mist covered her face and her eyelashes trembled.
So clean that there is not a speck of dust.
These eyes...are breathtakingly beautiful.
Something suddenly flashed through Gu Chengyu's mind, and his deep almond-shaped eyes narrowed suddenly. His sharp gaze fixed on the little face that was suddenly exposed in front of him.
Something is wrong.
These eyes are so stunning, but this face... is still dull, rustic and mediocre.
Gu Chengyu's gaze fell on her eyelids which drooped immediately in panic.
The thin eyelids were white and delicate, forming a sharp contrast with the skin color of her face.
Is she hiding her incompetence?
He barely thought, his body reacting before his mind did.
His slender fingers pinched Su Qianqian's small chin with irresistible force, forcing her to raise her head.
"Heh..." Gu Chengyu let out a low laugh with an ambiguous meaning.
The touch under his fingertips was incredibly smooth, making him even more curious.
He leaned in closer, his hot breath, reeking of alcohol, spraying on her smooth forehead. His voice was low and hoarse, "Little Assistant...you're really good at hiding it."
He looked greedily at her captivating almond-shaped eyes, "I want to see what kind of face you are hiding."
Su Qianqian's little chin was pinched so hard by him that it hurt, and she was forced to look up at his face which was so close to her.
The wild waves surging in his eyes and the undisguised dark fire made her feel flustered.
Her voice was filled with tears: "Master Gu, you misunderstood... I'm not hiding, please let me go."
"Misunderstanding?" Gu Chengyu chuckled. "Whether it's a misunderstanding or not, you'll know after you see it!"
When drunk, men act more arrogantly and recklessly.
He stopped talking nonsense and his other hand had already firmly grasped her slender wrist.
"Ah, Master Gu, please let go, you can't do this."
Su Qianqian was really panicked. What did he mean by pulling her upstairs directly?
Is it that fast?
This was only the second time she had seen him.
The girl tried to break free from the man's big hand, which seemed like she was playing hard to get, and she was really a little scared.
But her struggle seemed so pale and powerless in front of him.
Gu Chengyu didn't even bother to suppress her. He half-dragged her like a disobedient kitten and strode towards the elevator.

Su Qianqian was dragged by him and stumbled. Tears welled up in her eyes uncontrollably, blurring her vision.
She had clearly approached him with a purpose, but when this moment arrived in such a violent and uncontrollable way, she felt helpless and aggrieved.
