"Of course." Lu Jiayang raised his eyebrows. "After all, you are my second brother-in-law. I want to please you and make you devoted to my second brother for the rest of your life."
With Xiaobao's red heart-shaped sweater in front and Lu Jiayang's New Year gift behind, Yang Feng suddenly felt unusually warm in his heart.
It’s not love, it’s not friendship, it’s true family affection.
Yang Feng was no longer an orphan without family. This realization made him feel unprecedented happiness, and his usually stern face revealed an extremely gentle smile.
"Thank you." Yang Feng patted Lu Jiayang's shoulder. "As long as your second brother doesn't abandon me, I will cling to him like a python for the rest of my life."
"No, I'm most afraid of that thing."
Lu Ziyi subconsciously shuddered when he heard what he said, and said jokingly with a smile: "I was originally planning to spend my life with you, but when you said you wanted to transform into a python, I wanted to run away now."
"You wish." Yang Feng put his arm around his waist and pulled him into his arms. "You can't escape."
"Hey, hey, hey, I'm still here," Lu Jiayang said faintly, "No showing of affection in front of single people!"
"Okay, let's go inside and show off."
Lu Ziyi smiled, took two steps forward and hugged Lu Jiayang, "I'm glad you're back."
Lu Jiayang patted his back and said, "Go and open your presents. I can't wait to see your happy faces."
"We're so glad you're back"
Lu Zixiao leaned against the kitchen door, folded his arms and looked at him gently.
"Brother!" Lu Jiayang called him happily, then jumped in front of him, "I've been back for a long time, why did you just come out? I thought you were not at home."
"Don't jump around. You're already a big star, but you're still so unstable." Lu Zixiao scolded him with a smile on his face. "Those pots in the kitchen today are busier than me. I couldn't leave just now."
"It's enough for the person to come back, why buy so many gifts, it's so expensive"
"It's Chinese New Year, and I've made some money now, so I should buy some," Lu Jiayang said with a smile. "It's a gift for Grandpa Li and the others. I just passed by their house and gave it to Mingyang."
"Brother, aren't we having New Year's Eve dinner with Grandpa Li and the others this year?"
"No, let's eat together," Lu Zixiao said. "We prepared a lot of dishes today. Grandma Li said it would be faster if we cook them separately. They will come over once they are done."
"Oh, okay."
Lu Jiayang responded, then raised the corner of his mouth and opened his arms towards Lu Zixiao.
"What?" Lu Zixiao asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Give me a hug," Lu Jiayang blinked.
Lu Zixiao looked down at the oil-stained apron tied around his waist and said, "I smell like food, stop hugging me."
"No." Lu Jiayang simply rushed over and hugged his neck, "Hug."
Lu Zixiao hugged him back, not knowing whether to laugh or cry: "Are you Xiaobao? You are so old and still acting like a spoiled child?"
Lu Jiayang smiled and said softly: "I miss you guys."
