Chapter 191: Familiarity

"It's okay, it's not a big deal," Lu Jiaming said with a smile, "You're quite a friendly kid, calling me Fourth Brother right away."

Xia Nan scratched his head: "It's indeed a bit presumptuous..."

"That's not the case. You can call me anything," Lu Jiaming said. "My older brothers are preparing for the college entrance exams. They're also in school on weekends and will be home late. How about I take you out for dinner?"

"Why are you going out to eat?" Grandma Li suddenly interrupted, "Just eat here, I'll cook."

"No, no, thank you, Fourth Brother, and thank you, Grandma Li."

After Xia Nan finished speaking, he glanced at the time and said a little embarrassedly: "It's almost time for me to leave. My mother is cooking at home tonight, and I have to go back to eat."

Lu Jiaming nodded: "Okay, then I won't keep you here. Let's have dinner together next time. Come often when you have time."

"Okay," Xia Nan agreed happily.

Lu Yuxuan went out to see him off. Xiaobao was just about to follow Lu Jiaming home when he caught a glimpse of Grandma Li sweeping the floor out of the corner of his eye and suddenly noticed her hair.

"Grandma Li, did you get your hair permed?"

"Yes," Grandma Li said with a smile, "I was wondering why you didn't notice it? It's quite obvious."

"It's quite pretty," Xiaobao praised generously, "It makes you look young."

Hearing such praise from her, Grandma Li became even happier, and it seemed as if even the wrinkles on her face were smiling.

"Aren't you taking Yangyang to the market, old lady?" Grandpa Li came out of the house. "Why did you go get your hair permed halfway?"

"There's a promotion at the newly opened barber shop," Li Mingyang explained. "Grandma looked at the shop door for a while, and then she was tricked into going in by two barbers. I couldn't stop her."

“But fortunately, I didn’t step on the thunder, and it really makes me look younger.”

Grandpa Li walked around Grandma Li on crutches, smacking his lips as he looked at her. He then grumbled, "This thing is quite interesting. It takes a whole afternoon to cook some instant noodles?"

Grandma Li was stunned for a moment, then she realized what was happening and picked up a broom and started chasing him: "You old fool! Who do you think has a head like instant noodles?"

"Grandpa, grandma, please run slower!" Li Mingyang was so worried.

These two old kids...

Xiaobao laughed for a long time and said, "Brother Yangyang, my fourth brother and I will go home first. Do you want to come over for a while?"

Li Mingyang thought for a moment and said, "I'll come find you later, Xiaobao. I'll help grandma pack up the things she bought first."

"Okay," Xiaobao responded softly, and then ran back to his yard.
