Chapter 79 I Caught You

When Lu Ziyi came out of the hospital, the little girl had already been taken away by her mother.

"It's really rare that you can chat with a little girl for such a long time."

Yang Feng was startled when he heard Lu Ziyi's voice. He had been looking towards the main entrance of the hospital, but he didn't expect that this man would appear from behind him.

"When did you come out?" Yang Feng suddenly turned his head and looked at him.

Lu Ziyi chuckled and said, "I came out a long time ago. Seeing that you and the little girl were having a great time chatting, I went to buy two cups of lemon tea first."

"I came out from the side door, that's why you didn't see me"

Because Lu Ziyi was standing with his back to the sun, the evening sunlight shining on him seemed to give him a layer of gold, making him look warm.

Yang Feng stared blankly at the pair of moving eyes, feeling the gentle smile, and this extremely handsome face had appeared in his dreams, mind and heart countless times in the past few years, but now that it was so close to him, he felt that everything was so illusory and unreal.

"What are you staring at?" Lu Ziyi shook the cup in his hand, "Sit down and drink while you talk."

"Oh... okay."

Seeing him coming around from behind the bench, Yang Feng quickly moved his butt and patted the seat next to him, "Sit here."

"Hmm?" Lu Ziyi asked doubtfully, "Is there any difference?"

"I just wiped this clean," Yang Feng said, "Don't get your white pants dirty."

Lu Ziyi smiled, didn't say anything and didn't refuse, and sat down next to him.

He clearly felt that Yang Feng's body stiffened and he seemed a little nervous.

Lu Ziyi handed him a cup of lemon tea. Yang Feng took it and then returned the favor by taking a bottle of mineral water.

"Actually, I bought you some water...it doesn't seem to be cold anymore."

"It's okay," Lu Ziyi took it naturally. "I was worried that the lemon tea wouldn't quench my thirst. Water would be even better."

Yang Feng hummed: "How is Grandpa Li?"

"He's fine now," Lu Ziyi said. "The medicines Grandpa Li took contained ingredients that are bad for his heart. Fortunately, he received medical treatment in time and took very little. He can go home after the IV drip tonight."

"Those damned beasts!" Yang Feng's face darkened. "I was too lenient with them. They should have been beaten until their parents disowned them, and then thrown into prison for a hundred or eighty years!"

Lu Ziyi narrowed his eyes and joked: "I thought you would say that they should all be beaten to death."

"Then wouldn't I be breaking the law?" Yang Feng said, "Besides, killing someone means paying with one's life, and I want to keep my life for now."

"Well, your idea is right." Lu Ziyi chuckled and turned his gaze away from him.

"Is it okay if you don't accompany Grandpa Li?" Yang Feng asked.

"It's okay, my eldest brother and Lin Ze are here," Lu Ziyi said, "Grandpa Li is being looked after by them."

"...Lu Zixiao knows that you came out to talk to me?" Yang Feng asked hesitantly.

"I know." Lu Ziyi looked at him and said softly, "You don't have to be so nervous. My brother has no hostility towards you. He knows that it was you who carried Grandpa Li to the hospital. He is very grateful to you."

"Why should I be nervous?" Yang Feng frowned slightly and snorted, "I'm not afraid of him."

As he said these two sentences, his hands subconsciously began to make more small movements. He pretended to be calm as he tore open the straw bag, inserted it into the bottle with a snap, and then took a big sip of lemon tea.

"How is it?" Lu Ziyi asked him with a smile on his face, "Is it delicious?"

Yang Feng's lips trembled, but he still swallowed it calmly: "Hmm, it tastes good."

"Is it sour?" Lu Ziyi asked again.

"Not sour" Yang Feng looked down at the cup, "You bought it, it's very sweet"

"Oh~ Then you can drink sour food quite well," Lu Ziyi said with a smile, "I even asked the waiter to add two more slices of lemon to your cup, and you actually thought it was sweet."

"...Are you doing this on purpose?" Yang Feng was helpless.

Lu Ziyi laughed out loud, lowered his head and took a sip of his normal lemon tea, then said seriously again: "Thank you, Yang Feng"

"If it weren't for you today, Grandpa Li might not have received such smooth treatment, so I sincerely thank you."

"You don't have to be so polite." Yang Feng turned his head away. "I owe you so much. Helping you with this is just a small amount of compensation."

"What do you owe me?"

“There are so many things…I can’t explain them clearly now.”

"No, Yang Feng," Lu Ziyi said solemnly, "you owe me an explanation."

"Whether it was when I chased you around as a kid and asked you why you bullied other kids, or when we completely lost contact, you never gave me any explanation from beginning to end."

Yang Feng lowered his head and said nothing.

"Let's talk," Lu Ziyi said, "neither you nor I should run away anymore."

"What do you want to talk about?" Yang Feng turned to look at him, "Talk about the past?"

Lu Ziyi looked at him with a firm gaze: "If you are willing to speak, then I am happy to listen."

Yang Feng closed his eyes and said in a slightly tired voice, "So many years have passed. Even if I tell you what happened back then, will you believe it? Don't you think I'm making excuses for myself?"

"Whether I believe it or not is my business. I still have some judgment now," Lu Ziyi said calmly, "but whether I tell you or not is up to you."

"Yang Feng, haven't you noticed? Those things from the past have become like stumbling blocks in your current life. If you are unwilling to take the initiative to remove them, then you will never be able to truly move forward in your life."

"Do you want to stay where you are?"
