In fact, Lu Zixiao was not surprised that Xiaobao wanted to go to school.
If Xiaobao was replaced by Lu Yuxuan, the probability would be that the tuition would be delayed for as long as possible, but the little guy was different. Judging from his enthusiasm for reading and doing exercises, Lu Zixiao knew that this child would probably be a good student in the future.
No wonder Lu Yuxuan would always yell, "Why am I the only one in my family who's a poor student? Why are you all so good at studying?! This makes me look like a loner!"
Lu Zixiao expressed helplessness.
The registration time for elementary school is two days later than that for junior high school, but Lu Zixiao was still very quick. He prepared Xiaobao's admission procedures at noon that day, and Lin Ze also brought a lot of things over in the afternoon.
"Hey~ Boss Xiaolin is here again," Lu Jiayang said with a smile, "What goods did you deliver to us today?"
"Today's has nothing to do with you," Lin Ze said with a smile, "It's all for Xiaobao."
"Give it to me?"
Upon hearing this, Xiaobao ran out of the room and walked happily to Lin Ze, "Brother Ze, I guess you must have brought me school supplies, right?"
Lin Ze raised his eyebrows: "You guessed it so accurately, then open it quickly and see if you like it."
"I like it," Xiaobao said as he unpacked the package. "I like everything Brother Ze gave me."
Lin Ze laughed and said, "I love listening to you, little cutie, talk. Next time, Brother Ze will bring you something good."
"Take it easy, you've brought in a lot of stuff recently." Lu Zixiao came over and glanced at him. "Uncle and auntie, don't you think the supermarket is being robbed?"
"No, what I got is just the tip of the iceberg."
Lin Ze winked at him, leaned over and whispered in his ear: "They all understand"
Lu Zixiao was stunned: "What do you mean?"
"They know that we are the best in the world." Lin Ze smiled as if he deserved a beating. Lu Zixiao raised his elbow and nudged him nervously.
Xiaobao was busy at the moment and didn't pay any attention to their whispering. It was not until he had put everything together that he spoke with surprise in his eyes.
"Brother Ze, you brought so many things. I feel like I don't need to buy anything anymore."
"That's fine." Lin Ze smiled and touched his little head. "Take it inside. If you need anything after school, just tell me."
"Okay!" Xiaobao nodded heavily, "Thank you, Brother Ze~"
Watching the little guy skipping into the house, the two of them walked into the kitchen at the same time.
"Are you still eating here tonight?" Lu Zixiao turned his head and asked him.
"Is it not possible?" Lin Ze looked at him innocently, "Can't I stay for dinner?"
Lu Zixiao turned sideways and looked him in the eye, saying, "I've noticed that since that day, you've become more and more shameless, coming here every day to eat for free."
"Which day?" Lin Ze asked deliberately, then raised the corner of his mouth, "Oh, I see. You're the one who calls me your boyfriend..."
Before he could finish his words, Lu Zixiao covered his mouth forcefully.
"Stop yelling!" Lu Zixiao lowered his voice, "I haven't told them yet!"
Lin Ze didn't say anything, but his slightly narrowed eyes betrayed his smile.
Then he suddenly stuck out his tongue and gently licked Lu Zixiao's palm, causing the latter's body to tremble violently and he quickly withdrew his hand.
"Stop messing around." Lu Zixiao quickly turned around and faced him. "If you want to eat, go out and wait. I'm going to start cooking."
"I won't," Lin Ze said with a hint of lechery in his tone, "I'm here with you."
"Are you just accompanying me without helping?" Lu Zixiao didn't look at him, still lowering his head to pick the washed vegetables in the basin.
Lin Ze smiled, strode over, and put his arms around his thin waist from behind. He rested his chin on his shoulder and whispered, "If I help you, will there be any reward?"
Lu Zixiao's body stiffened noticeably. The sudden warm embrace and the breath on his face made his heart beat faster uncontrollably, and his ears even began to turn red again.
He moved a little unnaturally, but Lin Ze hugged him even tighter, so he simply gave up.
"Want a reward? Sure," Lu Zixiao said softly, "I'll give you two more bowls of rice tonight. Eat your fill before you leave."
Lin Ze tutted his words: "Are you feeding the pigs? Are you trying to stuff me to death?"
"You're trying to murder your husband after only being together for a few days? Huh?"
As he spoke, he kissed Lu Zixiao on the side of his cheek, then lowered his eyes to look at his gradually reddening cheeks, his eyes full of love that could not be concealed.
"Whose husband are you?" Lu Zixiao muttered slightly dissatisfiedly, "How shameless!"
"I am your husband," Lin Ze chuckled, "Dabaoer"
From time to time, the voices of Lu Jiaming and Xiaobao could be heard in the yard. They were only separated by a kitchen door. This sneaky feeling made Lu Zixiao even more nervous.
"Get out of here!" Lu Zixiao slapped his arm hard, "Don't let them find you."
Lin Ze then revealed a sly smile: "Then give me a reward quickly."
"What reward do you want?" Lu Zixiao asked.
"Give me a kiss," Lin Ze said shamelessly.
"No!" Lu Zixiao refused without even thinking.
Lin Ze pouted and held him, rocking him twice. "Just a kiss, it'll be okay. Please, Dabao, I've been holding it in for days..."
Lu Zixiao paused, then raised his eyes slightly to meet his eyes that were full of pleading and hope.
As Lin Ze slowly lowered his eyes, the lost expression on his face became more pronounced, like a puppy about to be abandoned by its owner, looking somewhat pitiful.
Thinking about how he had brought all kinds of things to his house these days and had been busy running around but hadn't even gotten a kiss, Lu Zixiao suddenly felt sorry for him.
