Chapter 25 Master Ji Ming
Compared with ordinary monks, Jiming is very different and has an exceptionally outstanding appearance.
This master is nearly thirty years old, but still looks very handsome with red lips and white teeth. He is wearing a moon-white cassock. He walks without moving his feet, but he is already in front of you, with a sense of being as light as the clouds in the sky and as gentle as the breeze.
At such a dangerous moment, a man like this appeared and was able to stop the falling rocks. People looked at him as if they were looking at a god.
Ji Ming walked in front of the slightly embarrassed Emperor Jing of Wei and the Queen, with a bit of pity in his eyes: "Are the Emperor and the Queen okay?"
Emperor Jing of Wei asked in doubt, "Master, are you here to save me?"
Ji Ming glanced at the people hiding under the stone wall, still with that gentle and calm look: "I calculated that a disaster will befall the world today, and I regard it as an ominous sign, so I came here in person to dispel the disaster."
Before Emperor Jing of Wei could say anything, the Queen immediately thanked Ji Ming: "Thank you so much today, Master."
One was elegant and graceful, the other was in a very miserable state. Emperor Jing of Wei could not accept himself behaving like this in front of other people, even if that person was the highly respected Master Jiming.
Unfortunately, the Queen didn't understand and thanked Ji Ming in front of Emperor Jing of Wei.
Su Chenyu asked Zhu Yi to protect Baili Yanqing, and she walked towards Emperor Jing of Wei. "The royal sacrificial ceremony should be divined three days before the event. Master can predict disasters, but he appeared after the event. Did you do it on purpose, or are you not capable enough to calculate the specific time?"
The Queen shouted, "Feng Yi, don't be rude to the Master!"
Su Chenyu ignored the queen and looked directly at Jiming: "I wonder if Master Jiming can help the princess solve her doubts?"
Emperor Jing of Wei said, "Master, my daughter is just curious, please don't be offended."
Emperor Jing of Wei's words meant that he stood on Su Chenyu's side and asked Ji Ming for an answer.
People respected Jiming because they were common people and subjects. But Emperor Jing of Wei was an emperor, and he could not allow his subjects to respect and trust a monk more than himself.
Su Chenyu had guessed what Emperor Jing of Wei was thinking, so she asked this question in front of everyone.
It was the first time for Ji Ming to see Su Chenyu. The woman in front of him was just as embarrassed as everyone else. But she was refreshing, as if no matter how embarrassed she was, she would not be looked down upon.
"Princess, this time I was a step too late. Fortunately, no disaster occurred."
Su Chenyu smiled slightly: "Master Jiming is the first person I have ever met who is so confident when admitting his incompetence!"
Listening to Su Chenyu's words, Emperor Jing of Wei felt relieved.
Ji Ming still looked calm and composed, but there was a hint of darkness in his eyes. This Su Chenyu was completely different from what everyone talked about her as.
At the same time, Su Chenyu was also looking at Jiming. Jiming was the most disguised person she had ever seen. In the previous life, it was this person who started the chaos in the court of Dayu and committed numerous evil deeds in the Huguo Temple.
But no matter who looked at him, they were unwilling to believe that this man with the word "compassion" almost carved on his face had blood on his hands.
Seeing that everyone had rested, Emperor Jing of Wei ordered the guard of honor to set off again.
After all, they had experienced the rockfall, and even if they tried to cheer themselves up, they were no longer as radiant as before, and instead had a depressed look on their faces.
