Chapter 511 Goodbye Feng Zhuohua
After Su Chenyu and Li Liyanqing changed their clothes, they left the palace and went straight to the posthouse.
The carriage stopped in front of the posthouse. Li Yanqing got off the carriage first, and then helped Su Chenyu get off the carriage.
As soon as the two of them stood still, they heard a voice from above: "Su Chenyu, Li Liyanqing!"
Su Chenyu and Li Liyanqing raised their heads and looked up, and happened to see Feng Zhuohua standing in front of the window.
Compared to six years ago, Feng Zhuohua looked the same. Today, he was dressed in men's clothing, with long hair tied up with a jade crown, wearing a brocade suit and a black cloak. Standing in front of the window, he looked like a gentleman who was detached from the world.
As soon as they entered the inn, they saw Feng Zhuohua and Jiang Ting coming down the stairs: "Why, it's been a long time since we last met, are you surprised to see me?"
Feng Zhuohua was very easy-going towards Su Chenyu and Li Li Yanqing, as if six years had never passed between them.
"Why didn't you tell me before you came? I could have sent someone to pick you up." Su Chenyu asked.
"Do Jiang Ting and I need someone to pick us up?" Feng Zhuohua asked. "As soon as we arrived in the capital, I asked Jiang Ting to deliver a letter to Jiang Huai without revealing our identities, for fear of causing unnecessary trouble."
While they were talking, Princess Xin and Su Cenhuan held Rong Shi's hand and walked into the inn from outside. As soon as she came in, Princess Xin saw Feng Zhuohua and was stunned for a moment. Looking at the person in front of her, she always felt like she had seen him before.
Su Cenhuan was the first to react. She bowed and then asked, "Why did your majesty leave the palace?"
After Prince Xin and his family arrived in the capital, they naturally stayed in the post house. They went to the palace to attend a banquet in the morning, and went back to the post house after the banquet.
After coming back, Princess Xin felt a little bored, so Su Cenhuan took her son Rong Shi to accompany Princess Xin for a walk. Unexpectedly, when they came back, they saw many people standing in the lobby.
"An old friend came to visit. Let's go out of the palace to see him." Su Chenyu noticed that Princess Xin had been looking at Feng Zhuohua, and asked, "What's wrong with the princess?"
Princess Xin hurriedly said, "I just think this young master looks kind."
Su Chenyu did not hide the truth from Princess Xin and told her that Feng Zhuohua was the son of the person whose face she had helped to change.
Hearing this, Princess Xin finally understood why she felt Feng Zhuohua looked familiar: "This young master really looks very similar to his mother."
Feng Zhuohua had never expected that when she came to Dayu, she would actually meet the benefactor her mother had always been thinking about. Fate is really a wonderful thing.
After a few people exchanged greetings, Feng Zhuohua's eyes fell on Jiang Chen who was standing next to Jiang Huai: "Jiang Huai, is this you and Li Muyuan's son Jiang Chen?"
"That's right." Jiang Huai pulled Jiang Chen and stood in front of Jiang Ting, "Chen'er, this is your uncle, the one I mentioned to you before."
Jiang Chen looked at Jiang Ting and called out, "Uncle."
Jiang Chen was young to begin with, and because he had been weak since childhood, he looked even thinner than other children his age. Jiang Ting had already known Jiang Chen's situation from the family letters sent by Jiang Huai, and he would send any precious supplements and herbs he had collected over the years to Jiang Huai.
But seeing Jiang Chen in person, Jiang Ting felt even more distressed, and quickly took out the New Year's money he had prepared for Jiang Chen in advance: "Xiao Chen, this is the New Year's money your uncle gave you. I hope you will be healthy in the future."
Jiang Chen did not refuse. After taking the red envelope, he found it was too heavy.
Jiang Ting explained: "This is the first time that my uncle has come to Dayu to see you. All the New Year's money from previous years must be paid back. You should keep it."
