Jiang Huaiyu picked up the hairpin and examined it closely. The design of the jewelry was indeed unique, so she asked, "How much does it cost?"

At midday, the streets were deserted, and the two strolled leisurely side by side. Suddenly, a dark figure darted out from the side like an arrow, heading straight for Yingxiang. Yingxiang stumbled and fell to the ground, while Jiang Huaiyu also staggered back two steps from the impact.
Still shaken, Yingxiang hurriedly scrambled to her feet and rushed to help Jiang Huaiyu. Once they were both steady, Yingxiang realized with a start that her arms were empty; the precious brocade box was nowhere to be found.
The dark figure had already sprinted several meters away, leaving only a blurry silhouette.
