Jiang Huaiyu sneered and retorted, "Even in prison, I am not a prisoner. What's wrong with making these reasonable demands? Commander Peng, judging from your age, you must have a family. When your wife is pregnant, can you bear to let her suffer?"
Unable to win the argument, Peng Ting waved his hand impatiently.
"Prepare everything she needs!"
Unable to contain his anger any longer, Peng Ting, in a fit of rage, snatched a hard bow, drew the bowstring taut, and pointed the arrow directly at Ling Mo.
Ling Mo was completely focused on deflecting the arrows coming from the wall and was oblivious to Peng Ting's actions. In the tense atmosphere, Jiang Huaiyu anxiously shouted a warning: "Young Master Ling, be careful!"
Before she could finish speaking, the arrow in Peng Ting's hand shot out like lightning.
Fortunately, Ling Mo heard the warning in time and wielded his longsword with lightning speed, skillfully knocking down the sneak attacking arrow.
Then, he glanced at Jiang Huaiyu from afar, and without the slightest hesitation, he nimbly leaped over the wall.
Witnessing all this, Peng Ting gritted his teeth and angrily gave the order: "Chase them immediately!"
Most of the officials rushed out, but he turned around and glared fiercely at Jiang Huaiyu, "You wretch, you have ulterior motives!"
He deliberately dispersed his forces, giving that guy surnamed Ling a good opportunity to escape.
Jiang Huaiyu's face suddenly turned cold, and he said firmly, "Commander Peng, please watch your words."
Upon hearing this, Peng Ting let out a cold laugh, "You bitch, do you think you can act arrogantly just because of your status? Today you dare to make fun of me like a monkey?"
