He had a smile on his face, and Li Yao silently looked away, not wanting to look at him.
The man had a pair of peach blossom eyes exactly like his, but this man was older and more mature than him, and he loved to laugh, laughing and laughing, not knowing what was so funny.
These eyes are so affectionate even when looking at a dog.
Li Yao suddenly felt that his eyes were not beautiful anymore.
"They will misunderstand." After saying that, he stopped talking and turned his head to look out the car window.
Hearing this, Caius's eyes darkened. He raised his hand and touched the top of his head without saying anything. The scarf that had initially seemed to be unable to fall off did not fall down at all, as if it were welded to his face.
Li's father lived in the suburbs away from the downtown area, with convenient transportation and medical care, but Caius was a young man and lived in an even more remote place.
It took more than an hour to drive to the destination. It was a suburban area with a house standing alone. There were no neighbors and it was surrounded by lawns.
The butler was planning to stay to take care of Li Yao, but Li Yao didn't need him. After arriving at the place, he wanted the butler to leave and only leave his luggage.
"Don't worry, he has a tracking device on him, so he won't get lost." Caius tilted his head, "I'm not a bad person."
Why not trust him?
How could I possibly believe him? Later, I had to bring up Li Ci and persuade the housekeeper to leave.
I didn't expect Li Ci to have this function.
Caius seemed to have realized something. After the butler drove away, he bent down and touched the child's cold little face.
"Come on, my little guest, you're welcome."
After saying that, he took the child's hand and walked towards his "home" step by step.
Although it is called home, he actually has hardly lived here. It is just an idle empty house. Fortunately, someone comes to clean it regularly, so it can be lived in.
Li Yao bit his lower lip and glanced warily at the empty lawn around him and the forest in the distance.
Are there wild foxes or something?
Why does this person live in such a place? It looks like the place where a witch lives deep in the forest, so eerie.
At this moment, his mind began to calm down.
I don’t understand why I was so obedient and just followed this man back.
"Are you alone at home?" he asked, looking up.
"Of course, it's just me." Caius yawned lazily, "Are you tired? Can I hold you?"
Without waiting for the child to answer, he picked up the little one and walked very fast. Soon he arrived at the door of the house.
The house looks very gloomy from the outside, but when you walk in, you will find that the decoration inside is very beautiful.
But for Li Yao, none of these attracted him much. It was a large house with two floors, but it was empty.
After the man came in, he put the child on the sofa and poured him a glass of milk. Halfway through, he remembered that the child was an Oriental and seemed to need to drink hot milk.
He paused and turned back to heat the milk. When he came back, his strong arms were exposed and his expression was gentle: "Are you scared? Then sleep with me."
Li Yao didn't touch the milk he handed over. Instead, he looked at him inquiringly, "Why did you bring me back?"
Caius rubbed his little head and said, "No reason. I just did it because I thought about it."
"How many days will I be here?"
"How many days do you want?"
"one day."
"Oh, baby, this is not okay."
"Then why are you asking me?" Li Yao lowered his head and secretly calculated in his mind how many days it would take for Li Qiao to come.
It didn't matter where he was, but he had to go back before his mother came.
"I will take you back in time and won't delay your business." As he said this, he blinked slightly.
"Oh...so? What do you want to do by bringing me here?" The child was very calm.
Caius sat next to him and said lazily, "Nothing to do. I've been alone for a long time, so I want you to accompany me." In fact, he didn't understand why. What was the point of bringing this child here?
"Maybe... when I'm happy, I'll want a child of my own..."
He murmured, his eyes distant, hiding a complexity that Li Yao could not understand. Since he could not understand, he did not speak.
Caius had never seen such children before. They were very interesting. The little one was also very good. If they were brought here together, this place might not be so deserted now.
He took a shower, changed his clothes, and took the child to his storage room.
So Li Yao saw a room full of paintings.
The variety of paintings is spectacular.
It's just a little scary, I don't know if it's just his illusion.
Caius slowly introduced to him the origins of these paintings, including many rare copies and some that he had painted himself. There seemed to be light in his eyes as he spoke of this.
Li Yao looked at him silently and didn't dare to speak.
Is this person really mentally healthy?
Maybe because he has been a child for too long, his courage has become much less, and he is really a little scared at this moment.
Caius smiled, squeezed the little fellow's hand, unfolded a wrinkled painting from his arms, and placed it on the drawing board closest to him. "This one will also belong here from now on."
"Why?"
Caius lowered his eyes and looked at him, "Because of you, my baby."
He didn't say much, just smiled.
"cold."
"I'll take you out." The man's eyes gradually became normal, even very gentle and concerned.
His hair was long and stiff, and it pricked Li Yao's face, making it itchy.
She was held steadily, and she secretly turned her head to look at the man's face, then quickly looked away.
