Chapter 107: One Question, One Remains Silent

It's raining outside and it's a bit cold tonight.

As soon as Li Qiao walked out of the airport, he met a man who was soaked like chicken soup.

Water was dripping down his face, and he was chatting her up... If I'm not mistaken, he was chatting her up, right?

Li Ci and Yu Rufeng couldn't come, so she was planning to take a taxi, but unexpectedly a stranger blocked her way.

The lights outside the airport were not very bright. The man stood in the backlight, his hair was wet, and the loose hair on his forehead had completely covered his eyes. He was also wearing a mask, so his entire face was "hidden".

Li Qiao just smiled politely, said nothing, and was about to walk past him.

The man did not chase after her. He turned around and watched her leave. He stood there, looking at her back from afar, with an unclear emotion in his eyes.

"Li Qiao..."

He murmured softly until the man's figure completely disappeared from his sight, then he withdrew his gaze.

I wanted to reach into my pocket, but felt water on my hands.

He grinned, silently shook the water off his hands, and sneered.

Nothing else, just laughing at myself.

But it’s not a bad thing, he saw Li Qiao, who should be the relative of those two children, right?

Unfortunately, he came in the rain and got soaked all the way, and it happened to be the heaviest rain.

Of course, he didn't come to the airport to peek at the girl. In fact, he had to catch a flight and had something to do.

After staying there for a long time, I turned around and walked into the airport, leaving wet footprints with every step.

I need to get some clean clothes to change into, otherwise I'll probably get sick...

He was alone and had no luggage. The documents in his pocket were protected by his clothes, so fortunately, they were not very wet.

He walked in slowly, and Li Qiao also got on the car to go back.

Yu Rufeng and Li Ci are now in the hospital. Both of them were injured to varying degrees. Yu Rufeng was in the passenger seat and was more seriously injured than Li Ci. Li Ci only injured his left arm and it was swollen, but it was nothing serious. However, Yu Rufeng had a broken ankle.

They were driving straight when a car rushed out from the side. Instead of braking, it stepped on the accelerator and hit them directly.

If Li Ci hadn't turned the steering wheel in time, Yu Rufeng might have collided directly with the front of the car, and it would not have been as simple as just breaking an ankle.

I haven't told my family about the situation here. I plan to deal with it myself. Besides, it's already very late. There are old and young people at home. It's useless to tell them. It will only add to their troubles.

So they kept it a secret and had no idea what was going on at home, let alone that they were injured.

When Li Qiao arrived at Li's father's house, everyone in the family was still awake. The lights were on, and Li's father, mother, and children were sitting in the living room waiting for her.

Li's mother was originally talking to her grandchildren with her head down, but when she noticed her coming, her eyes lit up for a moment.

"Qiao Qiao, come here and sit here."

As soon as Li Qiaogang sat down, she said, "The Buddha you bought for me last time..."

"My daughter has just arrived. Can't we talk about these things later?" Father Li interrupted her in a deep voice.

Li's mother choked, glared at her husband, and didn't mention it again.

"Mom and Dad, I told you not to wait for me, why aren't you asleep yet?" Li Qiao sat between her two children, holding one hand each. "And you two, why are you so naughty? What time is it, and why aren't you asleep yet?"

"Wait for mom!"

Little Li Yao threw himself into her arms. He had been away from his mother for a long time and he missed her very much.

The younger one was very happy and his thoughts could be seen from his face. The older one was much more reserved and even twitched his hand, trying to pull it out of Li Qiao's palm.

He pulled and pulled, but couldn't get anything out.

Li Qiao looked at him with a smile, "What's the matter? Don't you want your mother to hold your hand?"

"No." He shook his head, but stopped pulling his hand away.

Seeing the good atmosphere between the mother and her two children, Li's mother secretly raised her hand and poked Li's father. The two old people looked at each other, stood up at the same time, left here quietly, and went to the bedroom to sleep.

When people get old, their spirits are really not as good as they used to be.

The two younger ones were in the same situation. After just a few words, they became so sleepy that they couldn't open their eyes and kept yawning.

"Okay, go to bed." Mom said, and the two children stood up obediently and prepared to go to bed.

"Mom, come with me?" Little Li Yao blinked his big sparkling eyes, raised his little hands and pinched the hem of her clothes, his eyes filled with expectation.

He wants to sleep with his mother. He is still a baby, isn't he? He has been away from his mother for many days and needs her company.

Li Qiao lowered her head and touched his little face. After thinking carefully, she nodded and said, "Okay, you two go to bed first. Mommy needs to go wash up first."

"Yeah." The little guy was happy and raised his hand to hold his brother's hand, but his brother didn't let him. He was used to it, and if he didn't succeed once, he would try again. When he succeeded, he smiled and called out coquettishly, "Brother."

Li Yao lowered his eyes slightly, staring at the two people holding hands, without saying a word, and silently shifted his gaze away, following his force and walking towards the bedroom.

The two little guys walked upstairs together, wearing the same pajamas that Father Li had prepared for them. They were very simple in style, but because their bodies were so small, they looked very cute.

Li Qiao watched them being so harmonious from behind, a smile flashing in his eyes.

very nice.

Is it almost eleven o'clock? It's too late.

She felt a little damp, the moisture brought back from outside, and she needed to take a shower.

She said she wanted to sleep with the other kids, but in reality, the kids couldn't stay up that late. When she came out of the bathroom, the two kids were already sleeping soundly, snuggled together.

For fear of waking them up again, Li Qiao did not sleep with them. He just gently tucked the corners of the quilt for them and tiptoed out.

It was already half past eleven at this time. After finishing all the cleaning, the clock had passed twelve, indicating that a new day had begun.

After a certain point, she couldn't fall asleep. She wasn't sleepy anymore, but rather very energetic. She dragged on and on until she finally fell asleep in the late night.

So as expected, I woke up late the next day and didn't wake up until almost noon.

Little Li Yao woke up and found that his mother did not sleep with them. He pouted and looked aggrieved, as if he could hang an oil bottle on his mouth.

He wants to go find his mother.

Li Yao stopped him, his eyelids drooping, and said lazily: "Can't you let her rest for a while?"

"Oh..." He felt even more aggrieved.

Then, his dear brother produced a blueberry-flavored candy from behind him and handed it to him. The tantrum-ridden child was instantly calmed down like a kitten receiving a cat's bar.

At this time, Li Ci and Yu Rufeng had not returned yet, and to be honest, they had not handled the things they were dealing with well.

One had his arm in a sling, the other had his feet bandaged, and neither of them said a word when asked.
