Chapter 111 Dead Pretender
The next day, a strange person appeared at the school gate.
Sang Bai's eyes were bruised, and he was disheveled and looked nothing like his former refined self.
Now his body has collapsed, and the boy has been ruthlessly abandoned by Lu Tinglan. He's a worthless piece of trash, utterly useless and meaningless.
Sang Bai stood at the school gate, looking around. He had been squatting there for a long time, and finally he managed to catch a glimpse of it!
Sang Bai's gaze then fell on Cong Chun. The boy's eyes were bloodshot, clearly indicating that he hadn't had a good night's sleep in a long time.
The boy suddenly rushed forward fiercely and grabbed Cong Chun.
"I have something to tell you."
He had seen Cong Chun before; the boy in front of him was Lu Ge's phone screen saver.
Sang Bai didn't know what the relationship was between Cong Chun and Lu Tinglan. He only knew that the two had a close relationship. Lu Tinglan's phone screen saver was a picture of Cong Chun sleeping. The boy in the photo had slightly parted lips and was handsome. Even he himself couldn't help but feel ashamed when he saw it.
Sang Bai's voice was somewhat hoarse, like the sound of an old accordion, and it was obvious that the boy had just cried last night.
Cong Chun grabbed him by the back of his hand and asked him in a calm tone.
"Who are you?"
Sang Bai was not as strong as Cong Chun; he couldn't pull the other man at all.
As more and more people gathered around to watch, the crowd grew larger and larger.
Sang Bai closed his eyes, gritted his teeth, and said.
Cong Chun was stunned for a moment, his gaze falling on Sang Bai's face.
Where do we go?
Sang Bai glared at Cong Chun. This guy was playing dumb with him.
"Help me arrange to meet Brother Lu, that is, Lu Tinglan."
"Whatever reward you want, I will give it to you."
Sang Bai desperately wanted to see Lu Tinglan. He just wanted to salvage his relationship with Lu Tinglan. Even if it was a transaction, he was willing to stay by Lu Tinglan's side as long as it allowed him to continue.
He will be obedient, compliant, and will not resist, serving Lu Tinglan wholeheartedly.
Lu Tinglan was willing to do anything he asked.
Lu Tinglan's gaze fell on Sang Bai, whose face was grim.
Sang Bai was in very poor condition, and his complexion was dull and weak.
A hint of annoyance flashed in Lu Tinglan's eyes. Originally, the only thing about this boy that was somewhat pleasing to the eye was his face; he had no substance whatsoever, and now even that one valuable quality was gone.
Cong Chun stood in the corridor, and although he was only separated by a glass door, he couldn't hear what the two were saying.
Cong Chun leaned on the railing of the corridor, looking down at the small garden below. It was beautiful and vibrant, with scary baby bees flying around.
However, if you turn to the side, you can see that the boy is wearing an earphone, which is hidden under his dark hair and is not very noticeable.
The corridor was quiet.
Inside, the sound of a boy pleading could be heard.
"Brother Lu, as long as you're with me."
"I'm willing to do anything."
Sang Bai even knelt down and grabbed the man's trouser leg.
Lu Tinglan wore a dark knitted sweater, his temperament gentle and refined, but his eyes were cold and indifferent. The man looked down at Sang Bai with disdain.
His tone was cold and chilling, making one's legs tremble involuntarily.
Although the volume was not loud, it reached Sang Bai's ears very clearly, carrying a strong sense of threat.
"Then go die."
Lu Tinglan's biggest regret was bringing Sang Bai out of that club.
He originally thought the boy was obedient and sensible, and would not disobey him.
Once he got tired of playing with him, he was just a toy that Lu Tinglan could easily discard. He never expected that after they lost contact, this person would become so annoying.
Feeling extremely agitated, Lu Tinglan even considered killing Sang Bai.
Upon hearing this, Sang Bai's sobs ceased.
He looked up and gave Lu Tinglan a deep look. The man's expression was indifferent, and the coldness in his eyes was suffocating.
Sang Bai gritted his teeth and stood up.
The next second, with a click, Sang Bai opened the window next to him, braced his arm on the windowsill, and prepared to jump down.
Even if he dies, Brother Lu will remember Sang Bai for the rest of his life!
The boy had this thought on his mind.
Immediately afterwards, a strong pull came from behind, and the boy's slender arm wrapped around Sang Bai's waist, pulling her down from the windowsill.
Cong Chun stood to the side, rubbing his arm, his expression somewhat serious.
Sang Bai slumped to the ground. After the surge of adrenaline subsided, a sense of lingering fear welled up in the boy's heart. He didn't want to die. He didn't want to die.
Cong Chun's chest rose and fell slightly. He had just turned around and looked through the glass door. Although people outside the corridor could not usually hear what people inside were saying, he noticed that Sang Bai was acting strangely.
Cong Chun looked at Sang Bai, who was sitting on the ground, with a puzzled expression, and pointed to the transparent glass door next to him.
"Where do you want to go? The door is on the right."
"That's a window over there, don't mistake it for something else."
Cong Chun spoke calmly, as if stating a fact that any normal person would know.
Although transparent glass doors are relatively rare, they are unlikely to be mistaken for windows.
Cong Chun really felt that Sang Bai didn't seem very smart.
Young Master is much smarter.
However, it's also possible that Sang Bai is nearsighted.
There was a nearsighted person in the village who mistook Cong Chun's dog, Gege, for his own big black dog and planned to take Gege away.
Cong Chun saw this and quickly stepped forward to stop him.
They even picked up the little girl and held her up to the person so that the other person could see her clearly.
This is a clucking dog, not your big black dog.
Sang Bai was stunned for a moment when he heard Cong Chun's words, then his face turned completely red, as if he was about to have a heart attack.
At this very moment, a cell phone was found lying on the windowsill.
It was just dropped by Sang Bai.
A pair of abnormally sickly hands, with bulging veins, picked up Sang Bai's dropped phone. The phone screen clearly showed that a voice call was in progress.
A hint of ruthlessness flashed in Lu Tinglan's eyes. The next second, he stepped forward, took Cong Chun's hand, and was about to lead the boy out of the room.
The man's gaze fell deeply on Cong Chun, his tone gentle and emphasizing.
"Stay away from him."
"It's very dangerous."
Cong Chun silently shook off Lu Tinglan's hand.
He took off his earphones, which was the "reward" for promising to bring Sang Bai to see Lu Tinglan.
The owner behind the unanswered dialed number is Lu Tinglan.
That was Lu Tinglan's old phone number. Cong Chun knew it perfectly well because he had once ridden in Lu Tinglan's car.
The man's outdated business card with an eleven-digit phone number was left in the car; Cong Chun remembered it clearly.
He used Sang Bai's hand simply to find out if the man had been abroad recently.
Because the contestants who receive the most votes must meet with the company's management in person.
Cong Chun's tone was somewhat stubborn.
"Why...why did you steal my design drafts?"
The man's attitude changed drastically the next second.
Lu Tinglan stepped forward and grabbed Cong Chun's wrist.
A hint of obvious guilt flashed across her face, but in reality, Lu Tinglan's eyes were completely devoid of warmth, as calm as still water.
There wasn't a single trace of regret in my heart.
"Xiaochun, please forgive me."
"I made a mistake, I'm sorry."
"Please don't be angry with me."
I felt a slightly cool touch on my wrist.
Cong Chun simply stared at Lu Tinglan and spoke in a calm tone.
You are not worth my sadness.
The next second, Lu Tinglan's tone was tinged with sadness, the man's face was pale, and he looked somewhat unsteady, as if he would faint in front of Cong Chun at any moment.
"I have my reasons."
As he spoke, the man leaned towards Cong Chun.
But it was stopped by a large hand with distinct knuckles.
An arrogant and domineering voice came from beside the two of them, sounding sinister.
"Dead garbage bag, it can hold so much."
"I can smell the stench of that pig on you from three blocks away."
