Being pushed aside, Eric looked at the two people praising each other, and the corner of his mouth twitched.
Who is her biological son?
He watched An Ci skillfully act like a spoiled child with his mother, and the endless compliments he gave her, and he got goosebumps.
He just couldn't understand how a boy could act so naturally like a spoiled child.
"Have you two finished your business boasting?" Eric asked with a playful smile, leaning against the armrest of the sofa, sitting in a disorderly position.
An Ci glanced at him and said with a smile, "Don't meddle in the affairs of handsome men and beautiful women."
"That's right." Andy agreed.
Eric laughed angrily, "Mom, who is your biological child?"
"Of course it's us, cub."
The finishing blow from one's own mother is so heartbreaking.
Eric clutched his chest, pretending to be hurt. "What about me?"
"You got it for free when you top up your phone bill." said Andy.
Eric tilted his head and fell back, too angry to speak.
Seeing this, An Ci couldn't help but laugh out loud. One of her hands was held by An Dai, and she naturally leaned her head on her shoulder. "Aunt, do you want to go back to the manor with us after the party?"
Andy habitually wanted to touch her head, but when she saw that her hair was styled, she put her hand down. "Maybe next time. I have things to do in Country Y after the banquet."
In the past few years, thanks to An Ci's help in mediating, the relationship between her and her father has eased a lot, and she would stay at the manor for two or three days during the holidays.
When An Ci heard that she had something to do, he didn't force her and continued to chat with her about interesting things that happened recently.
After a while, someone came over to greet Andy, and An Ci took the opportunity to slip away. Eric wanted to follow, but he was a step too slow and was left behind by Andy.
The banquet hall was very large. An Ci walked around before reaching where the snacks were placed. She was still some distance away when she saw a small group of people gathered there.
Thinking there was something exciting to watch, An Ci's eyes lit up and he quickened his pace and walked over.
Before she could see what was going on, she heard an arrogant and domineering voice.
"Who do you think you are to steal something from me?"
The next voice sounded particularly familiar.
"I got it first."
An Ci looked up and saw Dali standing with his back to her, and opposite him was a young man in a black tuxedo. He looked decent and seemed to be about the same age as Eric.
What a coincidence, this is the only child in Ryan's family.
At this moment, Du Miao raised his chin and looked at Dali with contempt. His arrogant look was really a bit embarrassing.
An Ci narrowed his eyes, did not rush to come out, and quietly mixed in the crowd to watch the show.
"What do you mean you got it first? Did anyone see it?" Du Miao sneered and turned to look at his friends around him.
"Did any of you see that?"
"No, I didn't see it."
"I didn't see it either."
The onlookers either spoke up for Du Miao or pretended to remain silent, enjoying the fun. No one spoke up for Dali.
Du Miao smiled proudly, "Did you hear that? No one saw us. Hurry and give me the strawberry cake in your hand."
Dali uttered one word expressionlessly, "No."
After saying that, he was about to leave, but he caught a glimpse of An Ci standing in the crowd and stopped abruptly.
Irritated by Dali's ignorance, Du Miao strode forward and raised his hand to knock the cake out of Dali's hand.
"If you don't give it to me, you can't eat it either."
Dali dodged to the side, and Du Miao's hand missed, and his fingers hit the edge of the dining table, causing him to gasp in pain.
"Grass."
Under the watchful eyes of everyone, Du Miao felt humiliated and glared at Dali with a cold look in his eyes.
"You bastard, you still dare to hide? This matter is not over today." He unbuttoned his cuffs while saying this harshly.
Dali remained expressionless, holding the plate steadily with both hands to ensure that the strawberry cake was intact.
"Wow, hitting someone and asking them not to hide, this is the first time I've heard of this kind of logic."
An Ci took over the conversation. She walked out of the crowd with one hand in her pocket, her peach blossom eyes holding a smile that was both cold and evil.
"Are you naive, or do you think they're just as clueless as you are?"
