Seeing that he was in good condition, Shen Mo felt relieved.
"Uncle Che, have you eaten?"
Shi Che paused typing on the keyboard and looked up at him. "I've eaten. Why are you alone? Where's Xiao Ci?"
Shen Mo said, "She's sleepy, I'll let her sleep in her room."
Shi Che put the computer aside and chuckled, "Xiao Ci, you don't have the problem of mysophobia."
Shen Mo's face showed no change and he said nothing.
"Come here, I have something to tell you." Shi Che suddenly straightened his face, looking unusually serious.
Shen Mo vaguely guessed what he was going to say and slowly walked to the end of the bed.
"Something happened over there. The old man was attacked a while ago and just woke up yesterday. There's a lot of internal strife going on there now." Shi Che lowered his voice and observed Shen Mo's expression as he spoke.
Unexpectedly, he was unexpectedly calm, his eyelids slightly drooping, without even a trace of unnecessary emotion.
He said calmly, "I know."
He has always been paying attention to any movement over there.
Since he knew, Shi Che stopped talking nonsense with him and asked directly, "What are your plans?"
Even though Shen Mo's father and the old man had a falling out, the dead are the greatest. Although the old man had seven sons, Shen Mo's father was the one he loved the most.
Maybe it's because he loves the man so much, or maybe it's for other reasons, but the old man has been secretly looking for his whereabouts all these years.
"The old man got the news from somewhere and found out that you are in the imperial capital. He has sent people to look for you. Do you want to find another place to hide?"
Although the imperial capital is very big, it is sometimes also very small.
Shen Mo was silent for a moment, his voice slightly hoarse, "I don't plan to hide anymore."
Since they tried every possible way to find him, he simply fulfilled their wish and sent himself to them.
"I want to go back."
This concise and clear sentence shocked Shi Che. He frowned and said, "Xiao Mo, think it through. Don't be impulsive."
I'm afraid that except for the old man, everyone else over there is eager to get rid of him as soon as possible. If he goes back, it would be like entering a den of dragons and tigers, full of dangers.
Shen Mo pursed his lips and said "hmm".
Seeing that he had made up his mind, Shi Che did not try to persuade him, because it would be useless to do so.
"Then what about your recommendation?"
Not going to college anymore?
Shen Mo said, "Apply to the school there after you go back."
After hearing this, Shi Che had nothing to understand. It seemed that he had made the decision long ago.
He looked helpless and asked, "When are we leaving?"
Shen Mo's hands curled up slightly in his pockets, and he said thoughtfully, "After the baby returns to Continent M."
He thought she wouldn't be back until the New Year, so he had planned to leave in the next few days.
Shi Che frowned and asked tentatively, "What do you mean, you don't plan to tell Xiao Ci?"
Shen Mo hummed again, "There's no need to involve her in this kind of thing."
Shi Che subconsciously glanced at the door, repeatedly confirming that no one was there. He said, "Are you planning to leave without saying a word?"
Shen Mo remained silent, which was considered as his agreement with his words.
It was like a swamp over there, and anyone who stepped in would get covered in mud. She shouldn't have been dragged into these messes.
Even if she would be angry with him.
After a long while, Shi Che sighed and said, "Tell me, is there anything I can help you with?"
"Don't tell anyone my whereabouts." Shen Mo whispered, "especially my son."
Shi Che laughed angrily, "Are you going to make Xiao Ci hate me too?"
Shen Mo didn't say anything, just looked at him quietly.
Shi Che rubbed his hair irritably, his tone mixed with helplessness, "You'd better not regret it in the future."
Shen Mo lowered his eyes and remained silent.
…
In the evening, the wind started to blow.
When An Ci woke up, it was already dark outside.
She didn't get up immediately, but changed her position and continued lying on the sofa.
Suddenly, the door opened.
Shen Mo walked in, reached out to the switch on the wall, and turned on the light with a "click".
In an instant, the room became bright.
The sudden light was a bit dazzling, and An Ci reflexively raised his hand to cover his eyes.
The footsteps gradually approached.
She turned around, put down her hands that were covering her eyes, and as soon as she opened her eyes, she met Shen Mo's gaze.
"Why don't you sleep on the bed?" He picked up the blanket that had fallen on the floor.
An Ci sat up, lowered his head, and rubbed his eyes with his hands. "My clothes smell like roujiamo. I'm afraid they'll get on the bed."
"It's okay if it gets dirty, what are you afraid of?" Shen Mo looked down at her messy hair and habitually reached out to help her smooth it out.
An Ci chuckled, "You don't mind?"
"I don't mind." Shen Mo withdrew his hand, his eyes gentle, "I saw Uncle Song's car coming back."
An Ci stood up slowly and tugged at his collar, "Then call Uncle Che and let's go to my house for dinner."
Shen Mo said, "Uncle Che just fell asleep. Don't call him when we have dinner."
An Ci had just woken up and was still a little dazed, his steps unsteady. "Let's go then."
It was windy at night and few people came out for a walk in Jinyuan. An Ci and Shen Mo took Fugui back to Villa No. 2.
A gust of cold wind blew, and An Ci sneezed and rubbed her nose.
Shen Mo glanced at her sideways, "Why don't you go back and get a coat?"
"No, it's only a few steps away." An Ci started running. "I'll be warm after running."
Shen Mo smiled silently, carrying her backpack and walking slowly behind her.
Villa No. 2.
The living room was brightly lit, with warm lights shining through the window glass, exuding a touch of warmth.
