Chapter 164: Angry as a Firecracker

An Ci said "Oh" and began to keep silent again.

Mr. Song glanced at the strawberry milkshake in her hand and said slowly, "Are you still angry with Xiao Mo?"

An Ci looked out the window, his profile expressionless, "No."

"You just keep talking tough." Old Master Song laughed, with an expression that said, "Don't lie to me, I saw through it a long time ago."

After a pause, he continued, "Are you angry that Xiao Mo left without saying a word and even cut off contact with you?"

An Ci gritted his teeth and said in a nonchalant tone, "I'm not angry. Let him go."

He'll never hear her call him "brother" again.

Old Master Song couldn't help laughing. He was obviously very angry, but he said he wasn't angry.

It turns out that he is still a child at heart.

"Xiao Mo must have had his own reasons for making this choice," Old Master Song said earnestly, "His starting point is definitely for your own good."

An Ci turned around and looked into Old Man Song's eyes, finally speaking his mind. "That's just his unilateral opinion."

Look, look, this is not called not being angry.

She was clearly as angry as a little firecracker, ready to explode at any moment.

Old Master Song smiled helplessly, "If you were faced with any difficulties now, would you choose to tell Xiao Mo and let him face it with you? Aren't you worried about getting him into trouble?"

An Ci turned his face away and snorted, "At least he won't disappear like him."

Having never seen her so angry before, Old Master Song smiled and raised his hand to touch the back of her head. "Grandpa knows you are worried about Xiao Mo..."

An Ci continued to be stubborn, "Who said that? I'm not worried about him."

Old Master Song laughed and followed her words, "Okay, if you don't worry about him, I'll be the one who worries, okay?"

An Ci turned his head to look out the window, leaving the back of his head to Old Master Song, who silently curled up the corners of his mouth.

After getting his thoughts out of the way, An Ci felt a little better. He went to the antique street and strolled slowly beside Old Man Song.

After going around in circles, they didn't buy the vase and went home with two bags of sugar-roasted chestnuts.

Old Madam Song asked with a smile, "You and your grandson spent an entire afternoon shopping and only bought some sugar-roasted chestnuts?"

Mr. Song glanced at her and said, "Didn't you say you wanted to eat yesterday?"

"You heard it all. Grandpa bought it for grandma. There's no portion for us." Song Yuan teased with a smile.

Old Master Song glared and laughed angrily, "You're so bold, you dare to make fun of me and your grandmother. You deserve a beating, don't you?"

He rolled up his sleeves and pretended to hit him.

Song Yuan jumped up from the sofa and hid behind Liu Hui, "Mom, save me."

Unexpectedly, Liu Hui pushed him out directly, her eyes unable to hide her smile, "Why should I save you? You've been so rude for three days that you're about to be beaten up. It's a good time for your grandfather to punish you."

Song Yuan let out an exaggerated "ah" and once again suspected that he was not her biological child. "Mom, you picked me up from the trash can, right?"

Liu Hui suppressed a smile and nodded, "You finally know. I was planning to wait until you got married before telling you."

As soon as he finished speaking, there was a burst of laughter in the living room.

Song Yuan held his forehead with one hand and said, "Don't stop me, I want to find my mother." Then he quickened his pace and ran upstairs, fearing that he would be caught and beaten by the old man if he was a second slower.

Seeing this, the others laughed even louder.

Even An Ci was amused by him. Song Xi came close to her, glanced at the untouched strawberry milkshake, and asked in a low voice, "Zizi, why don't you drink it?"
