Chapter 167 Not a soft persimmon
The sky suddenly darkened, and a fine drizzle fell heavily.
Inside the car, An Ci's eyes, hidden by the brim of his hat, were slightly closed, as if he was asleep.
Suddenly, the car stopped.
Dali's voice came from the front, "Young Master, we're here."
An Ci tilted his head, opened his eyes and looked out the window, only to realize it was raining outside.
As she turned her sight, she saw an old apartment building. Perhaps it had not been taken care of for a long time, and the exterior walls of the apartment had turned black and cracked. Various sundries were piled around the door, and it looked deserted.
Dali got out of the car first, walked to the back holding an umbrella and opened the door. An Ci got out of the car and he moved the umbrella over her head.
An Ci looked at the apartment in front of him, which was almost in danger of collapse, and narrowed his eyes. "Is everyone inside?"
Nodding vigorously, "Yuan Yong..."
Before he could finish, a loud noise suddenly came from upstairs in the apartment building.
"Bang--"
It sounded like something being smashed.
An Ci raised his eyebrows slightly, "Let's go up and take a look."
There is an iron gate downstairs in the apartment building, but the door lock is broken and no one has repaired it. I didn't even need to use much force, and the iron gate opened with a light pull.
An Ci walked in and found that the apartment was even more "trash" than she had seen. The light bulbs in the stairwell flickered and the air was filled with a damp and unpleasant smell.
When passing the third floor, the noise became more intense, accompanied by the sound of quarreling.
"Bang--"
“Bang, bang—”
"Yuan Qi, don't be so shameless. It's okay if you don't agree with me selling the land, but you can help me pay off those debts."
"Impossible! I told you last time, if you dare to gamble again, I will never care about your life or death again."
"Then don't bother with me selling the land."
"Are you okay? You're selling my land, and you want me to leave it alone? Don't forget that when I helped you pay off your gambling debts, I agreed that this land would belong to me."
"I don't care about that. It's your choice. Either help me pay off my gambling debts or let me sell the land."
The soundproofing in the apartment was very poor. Even through a door, An Ci could hear it clearly. The people inside started throwing things after a few words of quarreling.
"Yuan Qi, you bastard, you've grown so strong, and you still dare to hit me. I'm not done with you."
An Ci listened to the sounds of fighting inside, winked at Dali, then stepped back and stood aside.
Dali walked forward and kicked the door open.
With a loud "bang", the two people who were fighting inside were stunned. Yuan Qi was the first to react. He pushed Yuan Yong away and stood up.
His light-colored shirt was stained by the dust on the ground. There was a bruise at the corner of his mouth, and the hostility between his brows had not yet been hidden, and An Ci saw it clearly.
Very good, not a pushover.
"Who are you and why are you kicking my door?" Yuan Yong came to his senses, glared at An Ci and cursed.
"Get out of here right now."
An Ci simply ignored him, walked around the broken glass on the ground, kicked the chair away and sat down.
His voice was lukewarm, "Aren't you going to sell the land?"
Yuan Yong was stunned for a moment and blurted out, "How did you know?"
"Don't worry about how I know." An Ci crossed his legs and glanced at him indifferently, "Anyway, this land is not yours."
Yuan Qi glanced at Dali, then looked at An Ci carefully, frowning slightly.
"Who said it's not mine? I also have a share in this land." Yuan Yong said angrily.
The room was filled with an unpleasant smell of alcohol. An Ci didn't want to stay any longer and wanted to finish the matter quickly and leave.
She waved her hand and said, "Da Li, take him out for a chat."
He nodded vigorously and strode towards Yuan Yong.
"You, what are you going to do?" Yuan Yong was shocked by his coldness and took a few steps back with a vigilant look in his eyes.
Dali ignored all this, grabbed his collar and dragged him out roughly.
Yuan Yong tried to struggle and swung his fist to hit Dali in the face, but Dali reacted very quickly, easily caught his fist and broke it with force.
Yuan Yong screamed in pain.
"ah--"
He dragged him out vigorously and closed the door.
From beginning to end, Yuan Qi watched silently, not worrying about Yuan Yong's life or death at all.
