Chapter 48 How did you trick him into coming here (1)

Near noon, seeing that An Ci had not returned yet, Aunt Hong had no choice but to come to find her and said that it was Old Madam Song who asked her to come over for dinner.

After listening, An Ci turned to look at Shen Mo behind him, "What are you having for lunch?"

Shen Mo said, "Takeout."

"Then come with me, and don't order takeout." An Ci grabbed the corner of his clothes and said with a smile.

She couldn't just ask someone to do her homework for free.

Shen Mo was stunned, "Huh?"

"Let's go to my grandfather's house for dinner." An Ci looked up at him, the corners of his mouth raised a little deeper.

"Let's take Fugui with us."

Shen Mo stared at her, silent for a moment, then nodded, "Okay."

Aunt Hong looked at Shen Mo in surprise, and silently admired her young master's strong ability to make friends.

Without the heating in the house, the cold wind blowing in An Ci's face made his cheeks hurt a little, and the area around his eyes was slightly red.

She zipped up her down jacket to the top, but part of her neck was still exposed. She subconsciously shrank her neck to avoid the biting cold.

"Wait a moment."

The person next to her suddenly pulled her, and An Ci stopped passively. Just as she raised her head, she saw the young man take off the scarf from his neck, bend down and hang the scarf around her neck, and wrap it around her several times.

"I don't need it, you can do it yourself..."

An Ci reacted and was about to refuse, but the boy held her hand and said, "I'm not cold, let's go."

Unlike her cold hands, the boy's palms were very warm. Being held by him was like holding a small stove in her hands, so warm.

An Ci narrowed his eyes and let him lead the way. Villa No. 3 was some distance away from Villa No. 1. The two of them walked slowly, with Fugui following behind.

When they saw Shen Mo appear with An Ci, Mr. and Mrs. Song were both stunned.

They all knew a little about Shen Mo's situation. When Shi Che came to eat, he never followed him. At first, they thought the child was shy. Later, Shi Che mentioned it to them privately, saying that Shen Mo had some psychological trauma due to the death of his parents and asked them not to mind it.

"Grandpa, grandma, I brought Brother Shen Mo here for dinner." An Ci pulled Shen Mo over.

Although Shen Mo's temper was a bit cold, he was still polite. "Grandpa Song, Grandma Song."

Old Master Song came back to his senses and nodded with a smile, "Xiao Mo is here, come and sit down, don't be polite, just treat this place as your own home."

As he spoke, he glanced at his little grandson with admiration in his eyes.

As expected of their kid, he can even handle Xiao Mo.

Shen Mo pursed his lips and nodded.

"You two sit down for a while, and you can eat soon." said Old Lady Song.

An Ci responded with an "OK." Old Master Song glanced at the huge creature following behind them and his eyes widened.

Although I had heard that my grandson had a white tiger, it was still quite shocking to see it with my own eyes.

An Ci Ren laughed and said, "Grandpa, don't be afraid. Wealth doesn't bite."

Mr. Song put away the astonishment on his face and coughed lightly, "Who's afraid?"

As he said this, he silently retracted his outstretched legs.

Fugui walked over with lazy steps, his dark eyes darting around as if looking for prey. Old Master Song swallowed.

He picked up the teacup and took a sip to calm himself.

Afraid that it would give the old man a heart attack, An Ci waved his hand and said, "Fugui, come here. I'll give you some cakes."

Fugui walked slowly to her and lay down on the ground. An Ci reached out and took two pieces of cake from the table and put them directly into his mouth.

Then he patted its head and said, "Be good."

Witnessing this scene, Old Master Song was so surprised that he couldn't close his mouth. He couldn't help but wonder if his grandson had secretly taken an animal taming certificate.

"Wash your hands and eat."

Mrs. Song's voice came from the dining room. Mr. Song was the first to stand up. It was the first time he was so enthusiastic about eating.

An Ci smiled. The heating was on in the room. She took off her coat and led Shen Mo to wash their hands.

We had fried noodles with soybean paste for lunch, which was Mrs. Song’s specialty. Each person had a big bowl with rich ingredients and lots of meat.

Madam Song smiled and said, "Xiao Mo, eat as much as you can. If you don't have enough, there's more."

Shen Mo thanked him and waited for Mr. Song to pick up his chopsticks before he followed suit.

Mrs. Song saw her grandson picking out onions and carrots and smiled helplessly, "Xiao Ci, what are you doing?"

An Ci smiled sweetly, "Grandma, please don't tell my mom."

If her mother finds out, she will nag her for being picky about food.

"Give it to me." Shen Mo pushed his bowl over and said in a light voice, "I'll eat it."

An Ci exclaimed, "This is not good."

"It's okay." Shen Mo helped her pick out all the onions and carrots and put them in his bowl. Mr. Song and the other man looked at each other with surprise on their faces.

Halfway through, Song Yuan came back.

As soon as he entered the door, he started yelling, "Grandma, what can I eat? I'm starving."

He threw his schoolbag on the sofa and accidentally saw Fugui dozing on the ground. His eyes lit up and he bravely went closer to touch it.

As a result, Fugui suddenly opened his eyes and yelled at him.

Song Yuan was so scared that he quickly retracted his hand, turned around and ran towards the dining room.

Fugui glanced at him and licked his paws, his expression seeming to be both mocking and contemptuous.

coward.

Song Yuan ran into the dining room and patted his chest, "I was scared to death."

"Xiaoyuan, weren't you going to cram school? Why did you come back suddenly?" Old Madam Song asked in surprise as she looked at her eldest grandson who had suddenly returned.

"You skipped class?"

Song Yuan quickly explained, "How could that be? The cram school teacher suddenly had something urgent to do, so he doesn't have to attend the afternoon class."

Skipping classes is not something you can talk about. If his parents hear about it, they will break his legs.

He turned his eyes and saw Shen Mo here slowly, blurting out, "You, why are you here?"

Shen Mo glanced at him without saying anything. An Ci swallowed the noodles in his mouth and said, "I'll bring him to dinner."

"You brought him here?" Song Yuan looked at her in disbelief, then looked at Shen Mo with the eyes of a heartless man, and said in a resentful tone, "Then why didn't you agree when I invited you to dinner before?"

Ignoring his accusing look, Shen Mo said, "This noodle is delicious."

Song Yuan rolled his eyes.

Well, that's why I don't want to talk to him.

For a cook, the phrase "delicious" is the best compliment. Madam Song smiled and said, "If it's delicious, eat more."

After saying that, she glanced at her eldest grandson and said, "Hurry up and wash your hands and eat noodles."

Song Yuan rolled up his sleeves and went into the kitchen to wash his hands.

By the time he came to eat, everyone else was full.

An Ci got off the chair and was about to leave when Song Yuan stopped him. He asked curiously, "How did you trick him into coming here?"

cheat?

An Ci raised an eyebrow, "Why would I lie?"

She looked like she was saying, "Why would I resort to such low-brow tactics?" Song Yuan choked, "...otherwise, why would he be willing to come out with you?"

An Ci put his hands in his pockets and raised his chin, "But it's because I'm good-looking."

“…”

Song Yuan's face was full of black lines. Listening to her disgusting words, he suddenly wanted to spit out the noodles with soybean paste he had eaten.
