Chapter 7: Two more punches

Throwing down the telescope, she crawled back into bed and pondered.

As a result, before she could figure out anything, Zhou Gong came to find her and she slept until eight o'clock.

After breakfast, she changed her clothes and prepared to go out. As soon as she went downstairs, she was caught by Aunt Hong.

"Young Master, where are you going?" Aunt Hong's eyebrows jumped when she saw An Ci dressed neatly.

An Ci didn't intend to hide it from her, so he said directly, "Auntie Hong, I'm going to the training ground."

Her grandfather will definitely not remain indifferent when he finds out about what happened at the training ground. There will definitely be something interesting to watch if we go there today.

Aunt Hong exclaimed, "Ah!" "Are you going again?"

"Don't worry, Aunt Hong, I'll be back soon."

Before he could finish his words, An Ci took advantage of Aunt Hong's unpreparedness and rushed out.

Such a big little master disappeared in an instant.

Aunt Hong almost cried, worried that something had happened to her, and hurriedly chased after her.

"Young Master, the ground is slippery. Run slower and don't fall..."

The other side.

The rain stopped, and the training ground was no longer as bustling as usual, but eerily quiet.

When An Ci came over, he saw that there were more guards around the castle than yesterday, and the atmosphere was a little serious.

The guard who had spoken to her yesterday saw her and hurried forward, "Young Master, something happened here. It's not safe for you to stay here. Why don't you go back first?"

An Ci turned his head to look at him, "What happened here?"

The guard looked embarrassed. He was just a gatekeeper and didn't dare to gossip. "This..."

He began to hesitate, and Anci didn't want to make things difficult for him, so he just walked in to find out what was going on.

Seeing this, the guard became anxious, "Young Master, it's dangerous inside, you can't go in."

He stretched out his hand to stop her, but An Ci's nimble little body slipped under his arm.

Aunt Hong chased over and saw this scene.

Oops, I'm still a step too slow.

"Young Master." She shouted desperately.

However, driven by curiosity, An Ci disappeared in an instant. In desperation, Aunt Hong had to go find someone for help.

In the stairwell, An Ci climbed up the stairs with his short legs, grunting.

When she reached the third floor, she was so exhausted that she sat down on the cold floor.

She is so tired.

Suddenly, there was a creaking sound of a door opening behind me.

An Ci turned around and saw a familiar face.

The boy's voice was filled with astonishment, "You, why are you here?"

An Ci blinked, looked at Dali, and asked, "Then why are you here?"

"I asked you the question first, so you have to answer mine first." Dali is slow to react, but he knows how to put his knowledge into practice.

Hearing these inexplicably familiar words, An Ci smiled, "Respect the old and love the young, do you understand?"

Dali choked, thinking that what she said seemed to make sense, "The instructor wants to talk to me."

"Don't you have training today?"

"Not in the morning."

"Why? What happened here? Why is there someone guarding even the elevator?"

He frowned vigorously, his extremely long reflex arc finally turning around, "This is the third question."

An Ci laughed dryly, "Ah, really?"

Nod vigorously.

"So what happened?" she demanded.

Dali hesitated, remembering that she had invited him to dinner yesterday, and whispered, "I heard that the canteen manager and the doctor in the infirmary made a mistake, so the master sent people to arrest them. But the doctor got wind of it and ran away. I don't know where he's hiding in the castle, so every room is being searched now."

Hearing this, An Ci frowned slightly, "Isn't there surveillance?"

Dali said, "There was thunder this morning, and some of the lines are broken. The surveillance is still under maintenance."

"It's not safe here, you'd better leave quickly."

An Ci stood up and was about to speak when a burst of hurried and messy footsteps came from upstairs.

Immediately afterwards, a white figure rushed down from upstairs.

When they saw the visitor's face clearly, An Ci and Dali were both shocked.

Wow, isn’t this the doctor on the run?

Just as they looked at the middle-aged man, he also noticed them and his eyes seemed to be filled with poison. "It's you again."

He gritted his teeth and asked, "Are you two doing something behind my back to harm me?"

His plan was flawless and no one had discovered it for so long, but something went wrong yesterday after the two of them came to the infirmary.

An Ci glanced at the middle-aged man's burly body, then looked at his own thin arms and legs, and decisively gave up the idea of confronting him head-on.

She silently moved closer to Dali and said, "Big brother, this weird uncle is so fierce. I'm scared."

Dali took a step forward and stood in front of her. "Go call someone, I'll take care of this."

Hearing the words "call someone", the middle-aged man panicked and quickly pulled out a dagger from his pocket.

"Stop, don't make a sound. If either of you dares to move, don't blame me for being rude."

"Go quickly." Dali pushed An Ci with his hand hidden behind his back.

Then he raised his fist and rushed towards the middle-aged man.

He was so strong that An Ci's small body was pushed down by him and fell to the ground.

Hello, could you please give me a heads up before pushing?

When he looked up, he saw Dali and the middle-aged man fighting. The middle-aged man raised the dagger in his hand and stabbed Dali fiercely.

Fuck.

An Ci's brows darkened, he got up from the ground and rushed towards the middle-aged man.

She bent her elbow and struck the middle-aged man in the crotch with all her might.

“Hiss~”

The screams like those of a pig being slaughtered echoed in the stairwell.

The middle-aged man's facial features distorted instantly, and his face turned blue and white, like a color palette.

Dali seized the opportunity, pulled An Ci behind him with one hand, and kicked the dagger out of the middle-aged man's hand.

Almost at the same time, he swung his iron fist and hit the middle-aged man in the face.

With a "crack", An Ci seemed to hear the sound of his nose bridge breaking.

Warm liquid flowed out of the middle-aged man's nose, and his eyes went dark. The next second, he fell headfirst down the stairs.

An Ci watched him tumble down the stairs and smacked his lips. "Did he faint?"

"Maybe, I should." Dali's face remained expressionless. "How about I give him two more punches?"

An Ci touched his chin and said, "I think it's okay."

Dali did what he said. He immediately went down the stairs and ran to the middle-aged man. He grabbed the back of his neck with one hand and punched him twice in the abdomen with the other hand.

Seeing the middle-aged man fainting and spitting blood, An Ci quickly said, "Enough, enough."

If he gets hit again, he'll probably be sent straight to the crematorium.

Upon hearing this, Dali retracted his fist and threw the middle-aged man back to the ground.

He looked up at An Ci and asked, "Should I go get them, or should you?"
