Didn't you hear her calling you?
Ye Tingru glared at the sly-looking man in front of her and scolded him with a coquettish tone.
Su Che remained unmoved, the corners of his mouth curving upwards even more, seemingly oblivious to Ye Tingru's anger. Perhaps it was a sudden urge to play, or perhaps it was to verify his suspicions, but he slowly stepped forward, gently cupped Ye Tingru's delicate, fair cheek, and then lightly pressed his lips against it.
Ye Tingru was completely taken aback by Su Che's bold move. She was stunned for a moment, and a shy blush immediately rose on her cheeks. She wiped her face hard with her hands and pretended to scold Su Che in a low voice, feigning disgust.
"What...what are you doing?"
"You're absolutely outrageous! Just because we don't do *that* anymore doesn't mean you can treat me with any restraint!"
"Hey... watch out or I'll call the police and have you arrested!"
Ye Tingru's words, which she considered very cold and serious, sounded like a little girl's disingenuous words to Su Che. He was now even more certain that this proud and beautiful CEO was definitely lusting after his body, but he didn't understand when she had set her sights on him.
Ye Tingru saw that Su Che had changed his expression, his face becoming unusually serious, and he looked at her with firm eyes, saying, "President Ye, that kiss just now made me realize a lot. As a man of integrity, I absolutely cannot choose to run away from an unforgivable mistake!"
“This is not only irresponsible to me, but also to you, and to others and society! I cannot break the law knowingly. As a model youth of the country, I always remind myself to uphold the bottom line of morality and law!”
“Now that I have made a mistake, I have decided to face it bravely! And I will turn myself in. I also believe that the country will forgive me in a few years, and Mr. Ye, you will forgive me too.”
"I will prove it with my actions. After I finish my meal, I will confess to Zhiyi and then go to the police station with you to turn myself in."
After saying this, Su Che still looked at Ye Tingru with focused and serious expression, waiting for her to respond.
Hearing this, Ye Tingru was a little confused. She didn't understand what had gotten into Su Che. He was fine just now, so why did he suddenly want to turn himself in?
She was just joking around to scare him; she wouldn't actually call the police.

"I will take responsibility, but Mr. Ye, you'll have to wait until I get out of prison!"
"No...no need, I forgive you now, you don't have to turn yourself in."
"How can that be? I feel terrible for what I did to you, Mr. Ye. I disregarded your trust in me, and I must turn myself in!"
Upon hearing this, Ye Tingru became anxious instantly. She wanted to shout but dared not yell, and angrily retorted, "Hey, I already said I forgive you. Are you sick in the head? Why do you have to turn yourself in?"
After saying that, she felt like biting the hateful man in front of her to death. Knowing that playing around like this would only lead to trouble, Su Che nodded.
"If that's the case, then give me one more kiss on the lips and I won't go."
Before Ye Tingru could react, Su Che swiftly and lightly touched the proud and mature woman's delicate lips, and said.
"Okay, I won't turn myself in."
After saying that, he dashed out of the house, leaving behind the dazed and somewhat ashamed female CEO.
"That damned bastard!"
"How annoying!"
Ye Tingru scolded him playfully, but she wasn't angry at all; in fact, she was overjoyed.
Just then, the proud and aloof older woman realized something was wrong and a bad feeling welled up inside her. She muttered to herself, "Wait a minute, why is he threatening me?"
"Shouldn't I be the one to control him?"
Just as the proud and aloof older sister was questioning her life, she suddenly noticed the plum blossoms on the wrinkled quilt. She was instantly terrified and broke out in a cold sweat. She quickly covered herself with the blanket, thinking she would store the sheets away when it was convenient.
After all, this is her first anniversary.

As soon as Su Che stepped out of his bedroom, he saw Shen Zhiyi walking towards his bedroom.
"Brother Su, I'm sorry, I was too tired last night and fell asleep as soon as I lay down."
"Where did you sleep last night? Was it on the sofa?"
Is Ye Zi still in your room?
Before Su Che could speak, Shen Zhiyi immediately launched into a deadly three-question barrage.
The quick-thinking Su Che didn't mention that she slept on the sofa. What if she went to the bathroom last night and found out she wasn't sleeping on the sofa? That would be awkward.
"No, I slept on a makeshift bed on the floor in my bedroom last night."
"Sleeping on the floor?" Shen Zhiyi was a little unhappy when she heard this. She stood on tiptoe and looked through Su Che's head at the half-open door behind him, saying, "Then why don't you come and sleep with me?"
Su Che gently rubbed Shen Zhiyi's head and said with some affection, "It's all because of you. President Ye's emotions were not very stable last night. After I went in, she kept crying and shouting... I was just afraid that she would do something rash, so I slept on the floor to keep an eye on her."
Perhaps feeling a little guilty, knowing that she had misunderstood her best friend last night, Shen Zhiyi unusually didn't say anything, but simply asked softly, "Is Ye Zi alright? Is she still angry with me?"
Should I apologize to her?
"It's alright now, President Ye is quite calm," Su Che said as he helped Shen Zhiyi to the dining table. "President Ye cried her eyes out last night, so I've asked her to take a day off today. You two best friends can rest well at my house and clear up any misunderstandings."
