Leng Ning straightened herself at her desk, wiped the fine sweat from her forehead, and looked at Su Che shyly, murmuring, "I'll have someone send over a contract in a bit. Once you sign it, you'll be a full-fledged employee of the company."
"I'll take you there after you sign the papers."
After saying that, Leng Ning picked up the company's internal phone on her desk. The call was connected shortly afterward, and she gave the instructions directly.
"Xiao Liu, I'm in the office, could you bring me a new employee contract?"
After giving all the instructions, Leng Ning hung up the phone and looked at Su Che, asking, "By the way, how much salary do you want?"
How many do I want?
Su Che asked with the clear eyes of a college student.
"Yes."
“I can try to get you more,” Leng Ning nodded and said earnestly.
"I want 100,000 a month, is that okay?" Su Che was speechless and made up a story on the spot.
"This... I'm afraid that won't work, will it?" Leng Ning looked at Su Che and said with some hesitation. She had really thought about it carefully just now and felt that it was a bit too outrageous.
"You know it won't work!"
"I know my own worth. I'll get the same treatment as a new employee. Don't give me any special treatment, or I'll have no friends in the company."
Leng Ning nodded. Because of her relationship with Su Che, she really wanted to fight for more for him so that he could live a better life. However, she knew that this was somewhat unrealistic. She secretly made up her mind that since he didn't earn much, she would have to take on the responsibility of supporting him herself.
"Alright then..."
"I'll apply for you according to the newcomer standard first. If you achieve results, I'll find someone to adjust your salary as soon as possible. Salaries in this industry are not fixed; the real money comes from profit sharing."
"But don't feel pressured, you still have me if things get really bad."
Su Che looked into Leng Ning's eyes and nodded, not saying anything more. Saying more would be pretentious. He knew Leng Ning's feelings for him, and if he ever had the chance, he would definitely repay her properly in the future.
...
A short while later.
Then someone knocked on the door of Leng Ning's office.
"Please come in."
The next second.
The office door was pushed open, and a young man in a suit strode in, carrying several documents.
"Manager Leng, these are the new employee onboarding documents you requested," the visitor said respectfully, handing the documents to Leng Ning with both hands.
"Okay, thank you for your hard work."
"Manager Leng, you're too kind," the visitor said with a slight bow, then turned and left.
Upon receiving the document, Leng Ning immediately took out a pen, handed it to Su Che, and taught him how to write it.
She let Su Che sit in her chair, and leaned slightly behind him, the breeze from her voice making Su Che feel a little itchy.
After two years of silence, the brothers were unusually active today, rising up to fight back every now and then. Su Che kept his eyes down, silently reciting the Heart-Cleansing Mantra, and signed his name as Leng Ning pointed to the spot.
Although the contract was complicated, Su Che didn't look at it carefully at all. He knew that Leng Ning wouldn't cheat him, so he signed it quickly and had no desire to look at the contract at all.
After everything was tidied up, Leng Ning's pretty face had a slight blush. She gently tidied the stray hairs on her forehead and then said, "Okay, I'll take you to my best friend's place now."
Upon hearing this, Su Che paused for a moment, then said, "Ning'er, there's really no need for all this trouble. Just tell me the location and I'll go there myself."
Su Che naturally didn't want to take his ex-girlfriend to find another person who might be his ex-girlfriend. If it really was An Yike, whom he knew, the scene would be too ridiculous and truly unappealing.
So he wanted to make a last-ditch effort to see if he could dissuade Leng Ning from going with him; it would be better to go and scout ahead first.
After hearing Su Che's words, Leng Ning was quite unhappy. "What's the trouble? We're in the same company, just a few steps away. Besides, you're a newcomer, it's questionable whether you can even find her office."
"Really...really, there's no need, Ning'er."
Su Che stood still, showing no intention of leaving. Leng Ning looked at Su Che with a puzzled expression and asked.
Why aren't you leaving?
"Ning'er."
"Although you are the company's HR manager, you are not the boss. You can help me for a while, but can you help me forever?"
Seeing Leng Ning trying to pull him away, Su Che started making up stories.
"sure......."
"You...you!" Su Che's next words caught in his throat; he didn't know how to say them.
"It's not Ning'er, what I mean is that you need to be more careful at work. You can't be so blatant. Think about it carefully. We're all newcomers, and we all need to climb the ladder. What will they think if they see that I'm someone who got in through connections?"
"Those with big breasts might not care, but if they were like you, do you think they'd try to trip me up?"
"Besides, getting familiar with the place is a small matter that I can handle myself, so don't worry."
Su Che's expression was incredibly profound; by the end, he even admired himself, truly living up to his reputation as the most affectionate man in Bincheng.
Leng Ning felt something was off. What did the size of her breasts have to do with her? And in a company, wouldn't it be easier to integrate into the group if you had connections?
If it's a senior employee who uses their power to bully others, they'd be lucky if they didn't take advantage of you, knowing you're a newcomer with no connections.
"Are you really sure you can do it?" After thinking it over, Leng Ning realized that Su Che's words weren't entirely unreasonable.
