Chapter 37 Going to Yu Hao's House
After hearing what Zhao Shunian said, Yu Yin's imagination started to open up. He imagined a young woman who was a master of time management. She would meet and talk with her lover while working in the office during the day, and then seamlessly switch to being a loving wife with her husband after get off work, enjoying the best of both worlds.
Yu Yin thought that this idea was too exciting and made her feel a little breathless. Then she found that it was a problem with the mask, so she took it off.
Yu Yin glanced at Uncle Feng in the driver's seat. She hesitated whether to tell Zhao Shunian about this idea.
This is Zhao Shunian's voice: "What unrealistic things are you thinking about again?"
Yu Yin touched his face and asked Zhao Shunian in surprise: "Is it that obvious?"
"Her expression is very obvious." Zhao Shunian was familiar with her expression. Sometimes when she was in a good mood, she would pull him along, make assumptions, and ask some random questions.
Yu Yin asked: "Will others think I'm weird if they see this?"
Zhao Shunian moved close to her face, and she swallowed nervously, waiting for his answer.
He admired her reaction for a moment before answering, "Most people can't see it. Even if they do, so what? There's no need to worry about what others think."
Zhao Shunian thought it was just a little hobby, a small matter, and it was harmless.
At first, he didn't notice the wild thoughts in Yu Yin's head. It was only later, as they gradually got to know each other better, and with his own meticulous mind, that he discovered and caught the characteristics. Once, he teased her and cooperated with her. After that, she rarely concealed her thoughts in front of him, and it became easier for him to guess.
Yu Yin felt that when God created her, he mistakenly assigned her sports skills to imagination, making her lack athletic ability but full of imagination.
She didn't like to move when she was a child. She got a headache when it came to skipping rope and jumping rubber bands. Only Yu Hao was willing to team up with her. Sometimes Yu Hao couldn't stand her being a burden, so she could only be a tool.
When she was young, she liked summer nights. She would go out to play with Yu Hao. Some grandpas and grandmas would enjoy the cool air outside the house, and the children would listen to their stories.
Accompanied by the sea breeze and the sound of waves, Yu Yin heard various legendary stories of people living on the sea, including quite a few horror ghost stories. She imagined those scenes and immersed herself in the stories.
Late at night, she and Yu Hao went home together. When they heard the slightest movement, they would hold each other's hands tightly. She asked her sister fearfully if there was a ghost, or if some bad guy was going to attack and kill people. Yu Hao would pull her and run all the way home.
Yu Yin's imagination was awakened and gradually enriched during those summer nights...
Finally, Yu Yin told Zhao Shunian his idea and asked him, "If you were the husband of that wife and found out you were being cuckolded, what would you do?"
Zhao Shunian was puzzled by this and asked, "Where did you get the inspiration to make such an assumption?"
"I just thought of it when you came to pick me up today."
"It turns out that my husband's prototype is me. I will make my lover lose his reputation and live a life worse than death."
Yu Yin asked, "What if he can't bear the pressure and commits suicide?"
Zhao Shunian said ruthlessly, "It's his own fault. I didn't let him die. He was wrong in the first place for seducing someone else's wife. As for my wife, she won't have a good ending either."
Uncle Feng pricked up his ears to listen to their conversation, thinking that the gentleman and mistress really knew how to have fun.
………
Arriving at Yu Hao's house, Yu Yin opened the door and came in familiarly, "Sister, brother-in-law, we are here."
The first person to greet them was Yu Hao's daughter Jia Jia.
Two-year-old Jiajia hugged Yu Yin's calf and called her "Auntie" sweetly. She turned to look at Zhao Shunian, her eyes full of confusion, and asked, "Who are you?"
The number of times she had seen Zhao Shunian could be counted on five fingers. She had not seen Yu Yin that many times, but she still remembered her and knew that Yu Yin was her aunt.
Yu Hao came out of the kitchen and said with a smile, "It's your uncle, hurry up and call someone."
Jia Jia imitated Yu Hao and called Zhao Shunian "Uncle." Then she ran to Yu Hao's side, hugged her mother's calf, and continued to look at Zhao Shunian curiously.
Zhao Shunian nodded slightly and handed the gift to Yu Hao. The gift was chosen by Yu Yin, an exquisite doll. He kept a distance from children. He couldn't say he hated them, but he definitely didn't like them.
Yu Haokan knew the brand wasn't cheap, so she quickly said, "I'm happy if you guys come to eat. You don't have to bring anything. I'd be embarrassed to accept it."
"It's nothing. The most important thing is whether our Jiajia likes it?" Yu Yin touched Jiajia's head and asked her.
Jia Jia stood on tiptoe and saw the doll in the transparent box. "I like it!"
Yu Yin saw Yu Hao wearing an apron and asked, "It's your birthday today, why are you still cooking?"
"There are too many dishes today, and your brother-in-law can't prepare them all by himself. You know his character. He cooks very slowly. If you don't help, we won't be able to eat until at least ten o'clock."
After saying that, Yu Hao and Yu Yin laughed.
Brother-in-law Wu Xiangjie finally finished dealing with the scrambling king crab and came out after washing his hands. “I knew even in the kitchen that you were making fun of me behind my back.”
Wu Xiangjie and Yu Hao entertained Yu Yin and Zhao Shunian together, made tea for them and chatted for a while, then he went back to the kitchen to continue cooking.
Yu Hao also said she would go in to help, but he asked her to continue sitting and greeting them.
At home, Wu Xiangjie cooks better and he is the one who is in charge of entertaining guests.
The family originally hired a live-in nanny to take care of the housework and cook, but Yu Hao later discovered that the nanny was cheating and abusing Jia Jia, so she fired her. As the saying goes, once bitten by a snake, you'll be afraid of the rope for ten years. She didn't want to hire a nanny anymore. But later, when she was too busy, she hired a part-time worker.
Normally, part-time workers would come in to cook and clean the house. Yu Hao rarely cooks.
Yu Hao is better at cooking seafood, but not meat. Yu Yin's cooking skills are even worse than hers. Yu's parents are very good at cooking, but they look down on their two daughters' cooking. They don't cook much, haven't learned their real skills, and are better at doing housework.
Jia Jia held up the box and said to Yu Yin, "I want to play."
"Do you want to take it apart? I'll help you."
She shook her head and said, "I'll tear it down."
Yu Hao explained: "She is asking you if she can take it apart and play with it."
"So that's how it is. It turns out that mothers understand their daughters' thoughts."
Then Yu Yin saw the early childhood education plan hanging on the wall and said puzzledly, "Jia Jia is only two years old, and she has to learn so many things."
Yu Hao followed Yu Yin's gaze and said, "It's like this now. If Xiang Jie and I slack off on Jia Jia, she'll lose at the starting line and it'll be hard for her to catch up later. When you have children in the future, you'll know how much trouble it is to raise one now."
Yu Yin couldn't help but glance at Zhao Shunian, who happened to be looking at her too. They had never discussed having children, but they both tacitly agreed to take safety measures, and he was even more cautious than her.
