Chapter 57 Candy
That night, Yu Yin obviously felt unwell.
She had been feeling a little unwell for the past two days, but she had been so absorbed in her work that she had ignored it. She didn't take it seriously, thinking she could rely on her own immune system to fight it.
But getting caught in the rain today made things worse. She couldn't bear it anymore and needed to take medicine. Otherwise, getting caught in the rain wouldn't have made her so uncomfortable.
Zhao Shunian had been busy recently and only had time to go home tonight. He asked Ye Ma about Yu Yin's situation.
Ye's mother said that Yu Yin had been feeling unwell for the past two days, so she took medicine and went to bed early.

Zhao Shunian went to the second floor and walked straight into the bedroom. The bedside lamp was turned on. He saw that Yu Yin's face was abnormally red. His palm was covering her forehead. It was so hot, it was not a low-grade fever at all.
"Yu Yin, wake up."

Zhao Shunian took out a set of clothes from the cloakroom for her to change into. She occasionally groaned in discomfort.
After changing clothes, Zhao Shunian picked up Yu Yin and put his face to hers. He felt that her temperature was frighteningly high. When he went downstairs, Uncle Feng had already prepared the car, and Ye's mother also went to the hospital with him.
After a night of tossing and turning, Yu Yin woke up briefly before falling back into a deep sleep. She hadn't been sick in a long time, but this time she was seriously ill.
The next day, when Yu Yin woke up, Zhao Shunian was gone. Ye Ma said that he had returned to the company early in the morning.
Yu Yin simply washed up and Xiaowen brought her breakfast from the kitchen.
The ward where she lived had its own kitchen. After the ingredients were delivered, Ye's mother started busy making breakfast for her.

Ye's mother came out of the kitchen and heard her words, "No, how can you recover from your illness if you don't eat?"
Xiaowen took the opportunity to say that Ye's mother had been busy for a long time before preparing breakfast. When Yu Yin heard this, he felt that he could not let Ye's mother down.
When Ye's mother offered her the porridge, she didn't refuse and ate it obediently. After a few mouthfuls, Yu Yin said pitifully, "I can't eat any more."
She felt like she would vomit if she ate any more, and she couldn't eat any of the most delicious foods in the world.
Seeing her like this, Ye's mother felt softened and decided not to force her. As long as she could eat something, it would be good enough.
Yu Yin sent a message to her, Xiang Yue, and Mo Qianyao's group: "I have a fever. I won't be going to work today."
Then she turned off her phone. Playing with it was an uncomfortable thing for her now. She had no strength and no energy.
She just lay in bed in a daze. When it was time to go for a check-up, she fell asleep again after coming back due to lack of energy.
When Yu Yin woke up again, it was already afternoon. She regained some energy and picked up her phone to reply to the messages from Xiang Yue and Mo Qianyao. They were both concerned about her situation.
Yu Yin felt more and more tired as she slept. She got up slowly, walked to the door of the room and opened it. She saw Zhao Shunian standing in front of the window in the living room, talking on the phone in a low voice.
On the table next to him was a laptop, neatly arranged folders, and an open folder. She thought to herself that he had to bring work with him when he came to visit her, which made him look like a real office worker.
The ward where Yu Yin is staying has two bedrooms and a living room. For the next period of time, Ye Ma and Xiao Wen will live in the room next to her.
After Zhao Shunian finished his call, he saw Yu Yin leaning against the doorframe, looking sickly. He walked over, and she leaned against him. He lowered his head and touched his cheek to hers. It was obviously not as hot as last night.
Yu Yin placed her hand on his chest, and she felt his heartbeat faster than usual. It was not because she was close to him, but because he had stayed up too late and had not had much rest all night. He was busy today and definitely had no time to rest.
Mother Ye wanted to go to the room to see if Yu Yin woke up. She was about to step out of the kitchen when she saw them leaning against each other. She turned around and stayed in the kitchen so as not to disturb them.
Xiaowen, who was in the kitchen, noticed Ye Ma's behavior and looked out curiously. She had thought her husband was a cold and rule-abiding type. She had never seen him and his wife interact intimately before, and they rarely spoke. She assumed their childless marriage of over two years must be a sign of marital discord. Zhao Shunian noticed Xiaowen's gaze and looked at her coldly. She avoided his gaze in fear, lowering her head to do her own thing, and she felt her heartbeat quicken.
Yu Yin didn't see this scene. She lowered her eyes and played with Zhao Shunian's cufflinks. She stood for a while and wanted to sit down. Zhao Shunian thought she was walking too slowly, so he picked her up and carried her to sit on the sofa.
Yu Yin saw a candy box on the coffee table. She pointed at it and said, "I want to eat some."
She had a bland taste for food and had no interest in any other food except candy.
Zhao Shunian remembered that she liked to eat orange-flavored candy when she was sick, so he brought this specially for her.
He opened the candy box, took out an orange-flavored candy, peeled it and gave it to her.
When they first got married, they planned to travel in southern Europe for two weeks. However, Yu Yin fell ill in Spain and didn't want to eat anything. Zhao Shunian thought she was going on a hunger strike.
One night, with the lights off, she went to the living room to look for candy. There was a box of candy in the hotel suite.
Because she was sick, she and Zhao Shunian slept in separate rooms. Zhao Shunian, who was in the other room, heard the noise. He came out to the living room and saw her actions. He lied to her and said that a thief had come in.
Yu Yin, with a candy in her mouth and the candy wrapper tightly in her hand, was very nervous. She asked in a low and vague voice where the candy was. He replied that there was a candy thief.
Then Zhao Shunian turned on the light in the living room. Yu Yin didn't see the thief. Her sick and confused mind finally realized that he was talking about her and he was teasing her.
Zhao Shunian saw that the box of candy was fruit-flavored, and there were very few orange-flavored candies in it. They were obviously eaten by Yu Yin, who only picked orange-flavored candies to eat.
Yu's travel plans were disrupted by this illness. After she recovered, the trip ended and Zhao Shunian had no time to accompany her on the trip.
He had to go to England to handle some work, so he asked her to return to Hong Kong City. If she didn't want to go back, she could ask Yu Meimei to accompany her on the trip.
Yu Yin chose neither, and ended up staying in the UK with Zhao Shunian for more than a month.
