The family of four shared a small handful of noodles. Wang Yamei gave Jiang Yushan the least amount of noodles, just two mouthfuls at most. If she wasn't afraid that Jiang Yushan, who was frail, would starve to death, she wouldn't have wanted to give her even these two mouthfuls.
Jiang Yushan silently finished the noodles in the bowl and hurried back to his room.
