The butler replied respectfully, "These were all arranged by Madam."
Yao Manning's heart skipped a beat.

The two found a bar and sat in a dimly lit corner. Mona skillfully took out a cigarette and lit it.
"Damn it, those bastards!" she cursed as she slapped herself. "They think they can bully me just because I'm not popular anymore! Back when I was famous, they were all eager to shine my shoes!"
"That's enough!" Yao Manning said irritably, downing a glass of wine. "What exactly do you want to talk to me about?"
"Well..." Mona scratched her head, "I just didn't have enough money to pay the bill."
"What did you say?" Yao Manning snapped. "You called me out in the middle of the night, am I your ATM?!"
"No, no, Manning, listen to me!" Mona cried anxiously. "I have something important to ask you... I really can't stay at that company anymore!"
"What happened?"
"That President Fu, she's not one of us at all like you said! I offended Jiang Can, and she blacklisted me! I have absolutely no resources now, and even if I get to appear on a show, it's the kind of show that even the lowest-tier celebrities wouldn't want to go on!"

Mona looked up at her, trembling with anger.
"Yeah, that bitch!"
