Fu Qingyan was panicked.
She covered her burning cheek, overwhelmed by a mix of emotions: panic, resentment, anger, and guilt.
"Don't call me Mom!" Sun Meifen gasped for breath. "Do you even consider me your mother? How...how could I have raised such a shameless thing like you!"
"Mom, don't listen to my cousin's nonsense. Uncle Lü and I are just..."

Fu Qingyan stood frozen in place, speechless.

"Mom, you...you don't blame me!" Fu Qingyan was covered in cold sweat and limped away in her high heels.
Sun Meifen gradually stopped moving, and only a ring of bubbles remained on the surface of the water.
At that moment, several bodyguards rushed over with flashlights.
They were all sent by Huo Zhixing. Jiang Can had warned Huo Zhixing early on to keep an eye on the mother and daughter's every move.
But I never expected Fu Qingyan to be so ruthless, pushing her own mother into the pool!
