Huo Junyu walked ahead with his hands in his pockets. The streetlights cast long shadows of the two of them, his shadow covering hers, and only the moonlight could see the smile on her face.
The two slowly walked towards the entrance of the alley, when Jiang Xiaowei ran over from the other side.
"Brother Door God, it seems someone is looking for you!"
"What?"
“Right there!” Jiang Xiaowei pointed to a spot not far away.
In the dim light outside the alley entrance, there was a tall and slender figure.
Jiang Mianmian couldn't see clearly, but judging from the outline, she felt that the person was not an ordinary person, and had a noble air about him.
Huo Junyu strode over and asked, "Why are you here?"
Wen Jie glanced into the distance and saw Jiang Mianmian's petite figure looking in their direction, seemingly hesitating whether to go forward.
Wen Jie joked, "Why doesn't she come closer? I want to see her face clearly!"
However, even such a joke earned him a sharp look from Huo Junyu.
Wen Jie didn't dare to say anything more, and with a dry laugh, asked him, "Um... have you eaten?"
Huo Junyu gave a muffled "hmm".
Wen Jie, trying to make conversation, frowned and asked, "Did you eat onions?"
Huo Junyu glanced at him.
"Boss, didn't you used to dislike eating flavorful things?"
"I used to ignore you, but now I still talk to you, don't I?"
Wen Jie was speechless, scratched his head, and smiled somewhat awkwardly.
What brings you here?
"Oh," Wen Jie snapped out of his daze and quickly took out his phone, "I'll show you this!"
Huo Junyu leaned closer and saw that he had pulled out several photos, all of which were chat logs between Gu Zihan and someone else.
