Jiang Mianmian glanced at the screen, then turned her face away, not noticing what was behind Huo Junyu.
"I've been calling you all day and you still don't answer... Is your phone just for decoration?"
"Or are you simply not interested in answering my call? Is there something more appealing over there?"
The sour smell almost overflows from the screen.
Huo Junyu laughed and teased her on purpose: "Well, something did take care of me today."
Jiang Mianmian bit her lip and ignored him.
“Mianmian,” Huo Junyu said in a low voice, “look up, the stars are beautiful tonight.”
Jiang Mianmian didn't understand the meaning behind his words, nor did she notice that not far away, a familiar figure was quietly watching her from behind a big tree.
She glanced at her phone; it was pitch black behind him.
The time difference in Jiangzhou is about one hour, so it should be evening now.
"What about where you are?" she asked softly. "Are there stars where you are?"
“Yes.” He chuckled. “I just talked to a star and asked it to come and keep you company.”
Jiang Mianmian was taken aback, but a smile finally appeared on her face.
When did you become so glib?
"It's not just empty talk, it's the truth."
Huo Junyu spoke with utmost seriousness.
Jiang Mianmian was a little confused, then she heard the man say again, "You were in the hotel courtyard, weren't you?"
"yes……"
“When I video chatted with you last time, there was a big banyan tree in that yard.”
Jiang Mianmian turned around and looked back.
There is indeed a large banyan tree over there. This kind of tree can form a forest even by itself. It has a wide canopy, lush branches and leaves, and a magnificent presence.
“Go that way,” Huo Junyu said. “I told that star to land there.”
"Huo Yu!" Jiang Mianmian smiled.

"If you won't make a wish, then I'll make one for you?"
Huo Junyu smiled, his voice magnetic and husky: "I bet you really want to see me right now."
"Mianmian, look up! I'm stepping out of the screen!"
Jiang Mianmian's mind went blank.
Sure enough, someone slowly emerged from the shadow of the banyan tree!
He was draped in starlight, his eyes filled with a smile as gentle as the starlight itself.
Jiang Mianmian was stunned.
She stared at him blankly, as if it were all a dream, something she couldn't believe.
"Huo...Huo Yu?" After a long while, her voice began to tremble, "How did you get here?!"
Huo Junyu approached her with a smile, and her dazed expression both amused and touched him. He stroked her hair and gently touched the tip of her nose, letting her know that he was real.
He wanted her to feel the burning passion in his eyes and the warmth in his palms, all for her alone.
"What's wrong? Someone doesn't seem too happy to see me?"
"you……"
Jiang Mianmian's nose tingled, and she was overwhelmed with emotions. After a moment of stunned silence, she suddenly laughed, tears streaming down her face, and jumped up to hug him tightly!
Huo Junyu also held her tightly in his arms.
He left in a hurry this morning without shaving, and when his chin rested against her neck, the stubble tickled her.
However, Jiang Mianmian still leaned tightly into his arms.
It felt like a dream, and she was terrified of waking up.
Huo Junyu felt the little person in his arms shrug his shoulders and tremble, as if he were crying.
He gently patted her back and said softly, as if coaxing a child, "Did my sudden appearance scare you?"
"I'm sorry, Mianmian... I came here without saying hello to you."

“I’ve arranged everything at home,” he said in a low voice. “I’ve sorted out all the stock in the shop. Besides, I’m only going to be gone for a few days. The aunt and uncle said they can take good care of the shop, and Xiaowei will help out too.”
