A look of surprise flashed in Lu Ran's eyes. She got up and looked around; the night was even darker.
Just then, the men in the communications room began their shift change.
The two exchanged a glance and tiptoed towards the communications room.
A light was on in the room. The two of them easily found their way in, located the communication equipment, and began to study where they could place the chip.
The communication equipment is connected to the computer.
Jiang Mianmian's limited computer skills were completely inadequate; she tried several times but couldn't even crack the password. And with five minutes running out, they had to leave immediately!
"Ranran, did you bring your phone?"
"Um……"
“Take pictures of this communication device,” Jiang Mianmian said urgently, pulling out the instruction manual. “I’ll take these pictures… We don’t have much time, let’s take the photos back and study them.”
Lu Ran did as she was told, but as the two were taking pictures, she suddenly caught a glimpse of a figure at the door!
"ah!"
Lu Ran gasped, nearly dropping her phone. She forced herself to calm down and covered her mouth tightly.
Jiang Mianmian's heart was pounding.
The two quickly squatted down, their eyes darting around.
Suddenly, a pair of red high heels caught their eye!
Jiang Mianmian and Lu Ran shuddered, their minds went blank, and it felt as if all the blood in their bodies rushed to their heads.
"Ladies, are you having fun here?"
The air seemed to freeze, and the two of them felt as if they had fallen into a vacuum, only able to hear their own heartbeats.
After an unknown amount of time, the voice from above came again.
"Do you want to stay here and play, or do you want to come with me?"
