She hurried downstairs and suddenly saw that handsome and warm face across the street.
"Hi!" Huo Jingnan rushed over as soon as he saw her. "How was your first day at work?"
Pei Nian chuckled, first nodding, then shaking her head.
Huo Jingnan didn't quite understand what this meant.
Pei Nian didn't explain and walked straight along the street, with Huo Jingnan following behind. The evening breeze brought a slight chill, and the moon hung in the night sky like a silver plate, its light shining on the two of them. Everything in the city was peaceful and beautiful.
It feels so good to have someone by your side, but Pei Nian has been missing that feeling for far too long.
