Huo Junyu was stunned for a moment, not knowing what to say, so he poured him another glass of wine.
Comforting people is not his forte.

When he said the last sentence, Wen Jie's voice was so soft it was almost inaudible.
Huo Junyu was taken aback.
Having known Wen Jie for so many years, this was the first time he had ever seen the top lawyer lack confidence.
The lawyer Wen, who could debate fiercely in court and act decisively in the law firm, remaining calm and composed in front of both clients and opponents, would actually become a man who couldn't even speak freely because of a crush.

The materials Wen Jie sent to Huo Junyu were all audio recordings. After listening to them once, Huo Junyu coldly deduced:
"The film and television city project covers a large area. It turns out that these two people were planning to turn one of the plots into a commercial and residential area, register a shell company, and then make personal profits from it!"
“That’s right.” Wen Jie nodded. “But we can’t draw any conclusions based on just these few sentences in the recording. We need to collect more evidence.”

A week later, agent Jackie finally received the endorsement contract, her hands trembling with excitement and her eyes sparkling.

You Huan remained calm, glancing at him indifferently before continuing to stare at her makeup.
Jackie instantly became a little fanboy, circling around her.
