What's wrong with you two?
"Yeah, what are you spacing out for?"
Jiang Mianmian was the first to come to her senses. She forced a smile at them, exchanged a few perfunctory words, and then pulled Lu Ran out of the tea room.
On their way back to their workstations, the two didn't exchange a single word, each lost in their own thoughts.
Finally, Lu Ran couldn't help but whisper, "Sister... could it really be that Xia Zhi?"
Jiang Mianmian curled her lips. How many more could there be?
But what a coincidence! Just when she was about to settle scores with Xia Zhi, this person actually delivered himself to her doorstep!
Jiang Mianmian took a deep breath, her mind racing through both old and new grudges. She closed her eyes and opened them again, only four words etched in her mind: Revenge is a must!
"Sis, why don't we go home and tell Uncle and Aunt? They'll get justice for you!"
"No need yet." Jiang Mianmian smiled lightly, "I want to see how Xia Zhi will deal with me first!"

On this day, Jiang Can came to the Lu family as a guest. As soon as she entered, she served cranberry cookies that she had baked herself and also made a cup of her secret-recipe flower tea for Lin Yuqing.
Lin Yuqing accepted it with a smile, and after eating and drinking, she praised it highly.

"By the way, Can Can," Lin Yuqing said, her smile fading, "has Xiao Youzi been coming to your house a lot lately?"
"Yes, that's right." Jiang Can nodded and chuckled, patting her hand. "Don't worry, I've never treated her like a daughter-in-law; I've always treated her like my own daughter!"
"Really..." Lin Yuqing's expression darkened slightly. "She went to find Junyu?"
Jiang Can was taken aback. "If we don't turn to Junyu, who else can we turn to?"
"Is she going to find Junyu, or... to find that couple?"
