Lu Ran looked into his eyes.

Suddenly, a phone ring shattered the tranquility!
Lu Ran snapped out of her daze, took her phone out of her pocket, and saw a string of unmarked numbers on the screen that instantly plunged her into an ice cave.
She glanced at Huo Junyang, walked a short distance away, and only dared to answer the phone after confirming that Huo Junyang hadn't followed her or heard her.
"Hello?"
"You brat!" the man on the other end gritted his teeth. "You think you're all grown up now? You dare disobey me! Ha, I'm going to the hospital right now and pulling out your mother's oxygen tube!"
"No..." Lu Ran pleaded in a low voice, "I'll do anything you ask, please spare my mother!"
The other end remained silent.
