Jiang Mianmian couldn't persuade him otherwise.
Huo Junyu smiled, and seeing that her hair was messy, he naturally raised his hand and tucked her stray hairs behind her ear.
In that instant, their hearts raced, and they gazed into each other's eyes as if the whole world behind them had disappeared, leaving only each other in their vision.

Her face was flushed red, all the way to her ears.

Jiang Mianmian composed herself. It was strange; whenever she thought of Huo Yu, her heart would race and she would drift off into thought!
She glanced at Xia Zhi. Although she really wanted to tell her about it, she decided to listen to Huo Yu and swallowed back the words that were on the tip of her tongue.
"Oh, no, nothing." Jiang Mianmian forced a smile. "By the way, isn't it lunchtime? Let's hurry to the cafeteria!"
Xia Zhi found her puzzling, smiled helplessly, shook her head, and teased her, "Hey, are you hiding something from me now?"
"No, I'm just hungry!"
"Let me remind you!" Xia Zhi said with a smile, linking arms with her. "You're a married woman, so you absolutely can't flirt with other handsome guys at school! I'll help your husband keep an eye on you!"
"Xia Zhi, what did you say!"
Jiang Mianmian was stubborn, but her face turned red. She and Xia Zhi pushed and shoved each other as they walked and laughed.
However, as she approached the cafeteria entrance, Xia Zhi suddenly stopped, took out her phone from her pocket, and looked a little off.
Jiang Mianmian looked at her, "What happened?"
"No..." Xia Zhi forced herself to remain calm and smiled, "Mianmian, you go and line up first, and get me the same meal as you. I need to make a phone call!"
"Oh." Jiang Mianmian didn't think much of it and went inside.
Xia Zhi nervously looked around, bit her lip, and quickly ran into a quiet grove of trees not far away.
