Then I felt a sharp pain coming from my ankle.
Lin Yuqing struggled to straighten her legs, but every movement brought excruciating pain. She looked up at the sky; it was already afternoon, and fog was beginning to rise on the mountain. Overconfident due to her past hiking experience, she had taken a route no one had ever traveled before.

She dragged her leg and crawled forward on the ground, trying not to make a sound so as not to attract wild animals.
But she couldn't even tell which way to go, let alone get out of the forest on her own.

Just then, a faint sound of hurried footsteps could be heard!

The footsteps grew closer and closer until they stopped right in front of her. She was startled, and then a hand reached out to her.
The fingers are slender with distinct knuckles, and the skin is very fair; it is a very beautiful hand.

"You?" She was taken aback. "Dr.... Dr. Chen?"
"What, surprised?" Shen Xiao curled his lips, squatted down next to her, and tried to lift her injured right foot.

Before Lin Yuqing could object, Shen Xiao acted swiftly, grabbing her ankles with both hands and pulling them apart!
She felt as if a ball of fire was burning her ankles!
Lin Yuqing bit her lip tightly, her face pale, and large beads of sweat dripped from her forehead and nose. Shen Xiao grabbed her foot and spun her around a few more times, and she could only endure it.
This silence piqued Shen Xiao's curiosity.
“You really are a heroine among women,” Shen Xiao laughed. “In the past, when I treated patients, if I encountered a young girl, the entire emergency room would be filled with their screams.”
Lin Yuqing bit her lips until they turned purple, then slowly loosened them, adjusted her rapid breathing, and managed to speak.

Shen Xiao looked at her and smiled.
