Chapter 33: Inexplicable Yin Qi

Liang Shaoyuan knew that it was Wen Wan who tripped him. After all, there was no one else around. He just thought she was confused, then snorted coldly and left angrily.

Wen Wan looked at Zhou Ziheng and blinked innocently. The two looked at each other and then went back into the house.

Wen Wan was also impressed by the twists and turns in eating hotpot.

"What did you do secretly just now?" Zhou Ziheng recalled Wenwan's actions just now and asked in confusion.

Wen Wan was stunned by the question, and then asked back, "Did you see it?"

Zhou Ziheng nodded and said, "I only saw a little golden light."

Wen Wan ate the cold meat and explained with some dissatisfaction: "I made an invisible talisman that can save his life at the critical moment."

"Don't you have a big problem with him? Why do you still want to save him?"

"Isn't he your friend? You just said that you have few friends. You will be sad if you lose another one, right?" Wen Wan tilted her head and said caringly.

Zhou Ziheng was slightly stunned when he heard her words, and then all the warmth in his heart turned into a smile on his face. Although they had not known each other for long, Wen Wan always thought about her and was always meticulous.

This also made him wonder in his heart, is she so nice to everyone she knows, or is she only so nice to him?

Zhou Ziheng suddenly thought of something and asked quickly, "Will changing other people's fates like this affect you?"

After all, he had read many books that talked about the five disadvantages and three shortcomings of casually revealing the secrets of heaven, and it seemed that there would be a price to pay, so he couldn't help but feel anxious.

"No, fate cannot be changed by a talisman of mine. If he never wakes up, the result will not change. If I save him once, there will be a second time. God will not give me the chance to save him every time." Wen Wan explained to him seriously.

Zhou Ziheng had been frowning until he heard her answer, then his brows relaxed. He then asked, "What did you find out?"

"Hmm... Do you think Liang Dong looks like Director Liang?"

After hearing this, Zhou Ziheng was shocked, "You mean..."

"It's exactly what you mean." Wen Wan turned off the fire and started eating the fruit plate.

Wen Wan ate big mouthfuls of watermelon and asked, "Haven't you seen Liang Tian before?"

Zhou Ziheng shook his head. "I've only met Liang Dong. He's particularly fond of his son, and you could say he's... spoiled. I rarely hear him mention his daughter, and I've never seen her. I didn't expect to meet her today."

"Besides... Liang Tian's mother didn't leave because of a divorce, but... died in a car accident."

After hearing this, Wen Wan stopped eating watermelon. She didn't expect that Liang Tian's mother had left her forever.

She was feeling sorry for Liang Tian when she suddenly felt a surge of gloom. She turned her head sharply to look outside the door and shouted, "Who?"

Zhou Ziheng was startled by her sudden shout and quickly asked her, "What's wrong?"

Wen Wan closed her eyes and quickly sensed her surroundings. The evil spirit seemed to be frightened by her and suddenly disappeared.

She turned back and shook her head at Zhou Ziheng, "It's okay. I seemed to feel a yin energy just now, but it disappeared suddenly."

"Maybe my feeling is wrong, or there are little ghosts wandering around."

After waiting for a while, Wen Wan finished eating the fruit plate, and then the two finally paid the bill and left.

So many things happened, and it was almost nine o'clock after dinner. Wen Wan was tired in the car and somehow fell asleep in a daze. With the sudden brakes, her head fell forward uncontrollably.

I was suddenly awakened by the fright, then yawned and fell back on the chair, but I couldn't sleep comfortably, and then slowly lost consciousness again.

I don’t know why I suddenly felt so sleepy. Maybe this is the legendary sleepiness after eating a full meal.

Then I became conscious and suddenly felt as if my head was placed on something. Then I smelled a faint fragrance, which was pleasant but not pungent.

She sniffed subconsciously, and then felt a soft blanket draped over her body, which made her feel much more comfortable than before.

The car drove slowly on the road, and after half an hour, it finally stopped at the back door of the program base.

Zhou Ziheng looked at the peaceful sleeping face on his shoulder and suddenly felt reluctant to wake her up.

He quietly used his eyes to describe her small nose and soft-looking lips, and then suddenly realized something and his ears turned red.

After calming down for a moment, he finally reached out and patted Wen Wan's shoulder, and whispered, "We're here."

Wen Wan struggled to open her eyes, and sleepily looked at Zhou Ziheng before her. She realized she was lying on his shoulders, and quickly got off him. She sat up straight and said, "Sorry... I was sleepy. Is your shoulder sore?"

Zhou Ziheng rubbed his numb shoulders and said, "It's okay."

Then he continued to say considerately: "It's late, go home quickly, we still have to record tomorrow."

Wen Wan nodded, woke up, got out of the car, waved to Zhou Ziheng, and then hurried back to the dormitory.

As soon as I walked to the dormitory door, I heard the chattering and playing of my roommates.

She happily pushed the door open and shouted, "I'm back!"

When they saw her coming back, they were worried about her health and asked her: "How was the examination? Is there anything wrong?"

"Um...it's okay. The doctor said it might be because I ate too much and had indigestion." Wen Wan said as she walked into the house.

Ming Chuqing raised her eyebrows and said, "Is that so? Then I won't give you my meals from now on, so you don't have to eat too much."

Wen Wan immediately regretted what she had just said and wanted to slap herself on the mouth. Why did she have to find this excuse when there were so many other excuses? Now she was in a difficult situation.

When Tao Zhizhi passed by Wen Wan, she sniffed her and asked, "Why do I smell like hot pot on you?"

"Really? No?" Wen Wan pretended to be ignorant and raised her hand to smell her clothes.

Ming Chuqing also came over to smell it at this time: "Really, tell me the truth, did you eat hot pot behind our backs?"

Wen Wan immediately denied it: "No! But... maybe it was because the person next to me was eating a self-heating hot pot while I was waiting in line to see the doctor."

As soon as she said this, she wanted to slap herself to death. How could she say such a lie?

Tao Zhizhi nodded, "Is that so."

She didn't expect that her roommate actually believed such a lie. She was speechless for a moment and didn't know what to say.

Then I went straight to wash up, got into bed and fell asleep.

Unexpectedly, Tao Zhizhi brought up the topic again, "Hey, the results will be announced tomorrow. I'm so nervous. Wanwan, are you nervous too?"

After waiting for a long time without any response from Wen Wan, I propped myself up and looked over. Wow, Wen Wan was sleeping soundly.

Tao Zhizhi looked at her peaceful sleeping face, shook her head slightly, and prayed silently in her heart that Wen Wan must be promoted to Class A.
